Incredible pride in manufacture.
It'll be around long after you're gone. Not steel with a brass finish applied. Solid brass. The foot castings alone weigh 5lbs each. I thought $250.00 for a tube? It's a bargain when you see the quality. I bought the 8' length. Only two comments. I would have much like an additional foot. Three is sufficient but it would have given me flexibility in matching my cuts to the available studs. Instead of a single 12" cut I had to make two 6" cuts. I didn't have a tube cutter. Borrow a tubing cutter! I got down to my last few strokes with a hacksaw and missed. I marred the finish but was able to conceal it. I didn't use the included 7" long #10 swag bolts and instead purchased #10, 3/4" brass woodscrews. Did I mention how comfortable this is to rest your feet on? Nice and wide. It's beautiful as well. Quality through and through. A bargain when you consider some of the junk at home Depot.

Looks great!
I shopped for a foot rail for our kitchen counter for several weeks. This one fit the bill. It was easy to install and looks great! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a decorative and functional foot rail.

Sturdy and great looking...
The bars are very strong and durable. Brackets are also tough and installation was easy because everything fits together smoothly. Great product.

Do not waste your money on this product
Purchase this item and bronze and there were several places where the bronze is coming off of the bar already. It’s very obvious if you use it as a foot rail as it’s intended it’s going to Mabury quickly. Would not waste your money on this product. Also they didn’t provide any instructions.
