Really Raw Honey, 16 oz

This is amazing honey. Thick and delicious and unprocessed. I live in Baltimore and it has actually become difficult to find here (despite being produced and packaged in Baltimore). So it is great to find this high quality brand at a great price. Use this sparingly and carefully. I treat it like medicine since it contains pollen and cappings and honeycomb. It is great for allergies and skin also.

This honey is absolutely delicious right out of jar; it has the consistency of butter. It reminds me of butter and honey sandwiches I ate as a child.

This is the first time I have bought raw honey so I don't have anything to compare to so keep that in mind with my review. When I opened it I thought the stuff on top had a smell to it that was not very pleasing to me. If I took a bigger whiff I realized it was just the flowers. The actual honey underneath was definitely different than the store bought honey. It will take some getting use to. I really love the spreadable consistency. We bought this for a few reasons. We bought it as a sugar replacement for our tea and also to help with general health and times when we are sick. It was easy to use in our tea once we figure out how to do it. I wanted to be sure not to heat the honey so that the medicinal properties don't cook away. We already had tea made in the fridge that had no sugar in it. So I heated some water and then poured a little bit of it over a big spoon of this honey I sat in cup. Stirred it around and then poured into the tea. Next time I make tea I will melt the honey into my hot water after I take the tea bags out and then mix with my cold water. It did not take much at all to make the tea sweetened. A recipe I saw online said to use 3/4 raw honey into 1 gallon of tea. I think that would be way too sweet! This honey is rich. For about 3 quarts I only used a big spoonful that might have been about 1/4 cup and I felt it could have been less sweet. My kids who are used to my husband making tea with sugar thought it wasn't sweet enough though. I think it is a matter of taste. And this is too expensive to get used to putting that much of it in. We tried to eat this on a spoon also as we were getting over sore throats and we all thought it was way to rich and sweet to eat that way.

The yummiest, most affordable honey. It is so easy to spread and pour a spoonful in your tea. It is delicious!

Excellent top-of-the-line honey...as long as Amazon is not your seller and/or shipper. Unless you like your honey old and blended with broken glass from their poor and irresponsible shipping processes, buy elsewhere.

it’s really great honey. Unfortunately, you have to melt it to use it which is kind of a pain.
