I've been using this for almost a year now and there is no change in its holding power or functionality.Idk if anyone knows what I'm talking about but with other car holders they get loose like the round part where you adjust the angle it looses its hold over time. And even where you put the phone that over times gets weak or uneven as well.But this one! Even after a whole year! It holds its angle even when the road is bumpy and its grip on the phone is working the same as it was new.Usually my phone holders don't last for even a year or if they do there is always a "but" or a problem that I have to accept to be a given.I have reccomend to several of my friends and family.My only problem is that like on my van, the vent on the right doesn't have a "close" option. So it scares me that it will over heat my phone. And the vent on the left is loose so it doesnt take my phones weight which causes the phone holder to fall down. Great product. Sleek look, light weight but holds my Mate 10 pro (a fairly large phone BTW) very nicely and steady. It is easy to take my phone out as well. One nice feature is it is adjustable. When switching to hold a different phone, all I need to do was to push the button on the top, the holder will release and expand. You just need to put the new phone in, squeeze the sizes and it will fit to the new size. Very easy to install. Taking me less than 2 minutes I think.

After I wrote a 2star review, the seller contacted me and sent a much, much improved version of the phone holder.I have had it for 2 days. It did not stick to the window, the phone was just to heavy and adding centrifugal force was too much weight. But! It does work on the vent and it works well. The pinchers that clip onto the vent are soft and do not scratch. It holds the phone firmly. I am happy with the product.2 years later the gadget is dead, broken and in the trash. Things don’t last.

I was looking for a car mount for my iPhone XS Max. This does the trick and holds my phone in place while driving. The magnetic-type mounts would let my phone swivel around or spin. My only issue is that for the price this feels cheap. This is made entirely of plastic. And the release mechanism isn’t the best I’ve seen. There’s a button on the back that releases the grips to release your phone. It’s clumsy to reach behind the phone once it’s on the mount. Also, there are other products out there where once you place the phone in the mount, the grips automatically tighten around the phone. With this one, you have to manually squeeze the grips to tighten around the phone.It works for now but doesn’t seem like the best quality product.UPDATE:I received a message from a representative of VICSEED regarding my review. They read my review and wanted to make sure they did right by my concerns. Without even request, VICSEED was kind enough to send me an updated model of this product - one made out of a metal material (my original concern is that the plastic felt kind of cheap).The new version feels very sturdy and does not request a release button to be pressed. When the phone is placed in the mount, the weight of the phone closes in the side clamps.I was surprised as well with the original product I reviewed. My concerns about it feeling "cheap" did not hold up. The mount helps my phone up without a problem. Even if VICSEED hadn't sent me a new one, I would have updated my review to state that I ended up being surprised at how well the mount worked.5 stars for customer service and for overall follow-through and trying to make things right by their customers.

Have I phone when heat on in car , it shuts down the I phone. Too warm for the phone. Cannot seem to get mine tight enough. Have a Toyota Camry.Love the convenience and price, ok in a pinch and for short drives when using heat in car.

It took some time to figure out which vent to attached it to at first. I love the way you can tilt the phone while it is in bracket. It holds the phone securely and it's easy to pull out when leaving the phone. This has been a game changer for me, the phone remains at a high level if I need to quickly glance at it, I always can see it and it now prevents me from playing with it as I am driving or looking for it. Best investment I have made. I am going to insist my teenage daughter uses it when she is driving. It keeps the phone visible, but helps me not play with the phone while I am driving. I got it in silver, so it looks modern and fresh. Excellent quality and stays in position once you set it.
