Needed a new chair after the last chair I had, one of the spokes on the base snapped, this was on a good deal and was what I was looking for, Pros : The seat cushion, it’s really good, nice, wide and deep, it’s firm but comfy Has a great adjustability range The wheels glide over surfaces with ease and with very little noise Foot rest, well just comfort Would suit as a office chair as well as a gaming chair Wide seat great for the larger body Arm rests, nicely move back and forward when adjusting the backrest, good soft feel to the pads although I can see them flattening over a relatively short period Cons: Parts heavy when building but did only need one person to build. Foot rest stowed position could of been better being placed slightly further back, when sat up my lower legs and feet naturally want to tuck under the chair a little, bit difficult with a large cushion in the way Head rest strap, well it’s not great, hasn’t come off yet but seems like it could but it’s nice and soft, well cushioned Lumbar cushion, it stayed on for all of 2 mins, the natural position the chair wants to be in just causes more issues with this pad being just wrong, if the back rest had more of a lower back curve it would of helped Foot rest arms seem flimsy but travel smooth. I haven’t really had to adjust the height as it’s currently only just about an inch above its lowest and with the large deep seat cushion it raises you up quite nicely, The material is nice, leatherette but soft and has a bit of stretch to it, not cold either when sitting in shorts or bare legs on the foot rest I would recommend this chair to anyone, larger or smaller build

I bought this SONGMICS gaming chair as an early Christmas present for my partner, and it’s been a huge hit. It was very easy to build, the price was extremely reasonable, and the comfort is outstanding. He’s been using it daily and absolutely loves it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality chair without the premium price tag!

07/04/2020 I've had the chair for one month. Little background: I broke my spine a while back in 2014 L4/l5/S1 and needed proper support and comfort as I now sit down at a desk for a job. I've had a real good one bought from amazon around £100 and so that one broke recently because I've gained weight and had it for 4 years. I was looking for a robust supporting chair. The Review: This chair was amazingly easy to assemble, i thought it would be a nightmare but I was mistaken. The lumbar pillow and head pillow is good, however sometimes it causes more issues than good; for example, they hook onto each other so you can't just have the head pillow on it's own or the lumbar support on it's own. For people with spinal issues, having both on all the time causes quite a bit of pain; that being said I need an operation anyhow. A lot of people have been saying that the chair creeks often when you sit in it. I can confirm that the chair does indeed sounds like predator; it's a bit unsettling, but I think it has something to do with the instructions where they tell you not to tighten a bolt fully and it's crushing a very weak washer when you adjust yourself in the chair. With regards to the footrest, It's a bit flimsy, but if you persevere with using it, i managed to get really comfortable and fell asleep in the chair. One drawback is that the chair height is limited. So if you are 6ft the chair height cannot be raised high enough meaning you will find you legs in a poor postural position under DSE guidelines. This chair feels like it can take a beating; which was one of the other reasons i bought it. 150kg max weight is really good can't find many chairs who can justify that. Granted no chair is perfect and you should not sit in any chair no matter how comfortable for more than 2 hours for a healthy person or 30 minutes for a poorly person. Summary: The chair has not met my expectations, however I do feel it is satisfactory; too much hassle to return the chair and find the perfect chair. Next time I will focus on: Weight capacity, vertical height raise, comfort.

Only good things to say, fast shipping (it almost came a week earlier than planned) super comfortable perfect height, amazing support for arms and back. I will use this as my work chair but also to relax in when checking my phone and so on because it has nice support. I was looking for a chair that would support my arms because I work from home and I noticed some pain in my shoulder and I know this will do the job! I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to with this one. I’m very bad at assembling things but this was very easy to so so really recommend this chair you will not get disappointed! :)
