Pathology: Implications for the Physical Therapist 4th Edition

Everything done well by vendor but book is useless to practical therapy. Book deals with serious conditions better diagnosed by a doctor. Nothing about injury therapy like from a fall which is major area for physical therapy. Not a single exercise for helping people with any of the conditions listed and detailed. I have ordered more practical books to rerplace.

Great book. There was a concern regarding the book being taken off Amazon's e-sale list due to a problem with the content of the e-book and Amazon was not able to tell me what the problem was,

I love this book. A lot of Pathology information on pretty much everything you'll see in the clinical setting. There is a lot of relevant info in the implications sections that can help you with your thought processes if you encounter more complex pathologies. It also follows the Guide to PT Practice, which is what all the questions on the board exam and clinical specialty exams are based on. I did dock one star due to it not listing or making small references to some tests or measures used for some cardiopulmonary and neuro pathologies, and also having some heavy repetition in some topics. Overall this is quite a hefty book and is the thickest book on my bookshelf, but it is very useful and has enough info to understand at a professional level mostly any complex patient pathology you may see in any setting.

It was a gift for a young colleague. I know the authors personally, owned earlier versions of this text,so I know it is an outstanding text book.These 2 always put out a great book.Thank you

This is a great reference source designed to address the systems from a PT's point of view. Very helpful for PTs in any setting but especially invaluable in acute care.

Great book for the price, it'll take like 6 months to get through it.
