Ya gotta have one!!!!!
I make a lot of things out of wood and that means I spend a lot of time waiting for glue to dry while the piece is held together with an assortment of clamps. This pinner can in many cases eliminate the need for clamping. I bought all three pin sizes, too, and am glad I did because I"ve used all three. The pinner is lightweight, easy to use and almost fail proof. It drives those little pins into any kind of wood and the hole is so tiny as to be invisible. The people who make clamps and wood filler had better find new jobs because this little tool makes them unnecessary most of the time. There is one drawback and it can be a big one. The pinner has only one safety on it. There is a little lever near the trigger that you turn sideways to arm the pinner. It will fire when you pull the trigger whether you have it aimed at a board or not. Many other pinners have a second safety. The gun won't fire until you place the tip on the material to be pinned. This tool doesn't have that safety factor. If you are safety conscious and use this gun with your finger off the trigger until it is placed on the wood to be pinned you will be fine, just be aware that it can fire in any direction. To prevent accidents I have disciplined myself to take the safety off when I pin and then put it back in safe position again immediately after using it. That being said, this is a wonderful tool and the price can't be beat.

Great gun for the price
I was a bit leery of the gun at this price - on par with Harbor Freight guns which get very mixed reviews. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it worked.I used it to attach new trim to some cabinets after a flooring redo and some other cabinet repairs. The 23 gauge pins leave no perceptible holes unless you know what to look for and examine the trim closely. It drives to just the right depth. I had no jams with it (used good quality Porter-Cable pins also from Amazon). It will leave a minor dent in the wood if you hold the gun against the wood when you fire. I soon learned that if you just barely touch the gun to the wood and then ever so gently pull it away from the wood as you fire that it drives the pin just slightly below the surface and leaves no dents in the wood. Perfect.I don't think you can beat it for the price. Next cheapest gun I could find (other than HF) was over 2X this price. Very good quality, feels well balanced.I cannot report on longevity, since I didn't use it a lot yet, but if you take care of it, oil it before each use, and use good quality pins I suspect that you will get a good return on this tool investment.

Limited in ability
I bought this to redo some trim around the house. I wanted something that would handle very small pieces of detail trim without blemishing them.It seems sturdy and well made. It is small but easy to use and works well enough. My only complaint is that it only handles smaller nails. I had 1.5 nails but the gun tops out at 1 inch. For my project that didn’t secure the pieces well enough. I had to redo them with wood glue to add some strength.Overall it works well, is sturdy and looks great. My only knock is its limitation to handle larger nails.

Good value for the money.
I had two dressers to repair, one was just old and Soren out, the other was missing all the trim work that was on it.It was nice being able to put the trim on using pin nails and glue, no clamps.Had no problems with this nail gun!!

Great tool !
Great tool that does just what it is supposed to do. Perfect for small trim pieces. Tiny holes, no splits. Those concerned with safety need to understand that ALL nail guns need to be treated like a loaded firearm at all times. Keep your finger off the trigger until your ready to fire. No amount of added "safety" measures is going to keep you from shooting yourself if you don't use things properly.

Excellent value
This pinner is an excellent value and very easy to use and easy to load the pins. Fits in hand great and feels very sturdy made. I own a few other pneumatic tools from this manufacturer and they all never let me down. Highly recommend.

Gun began failing almost immediately after the warranty expired ... SPEND MORE ON A GOOD BRAND!!
At only $30.00 for a tool that I hoped to use for building picture framing and in-laying some small wood details, I thought it would be worth the risk. I shot probably 200 pins through the gun over the course of 2 1/2 weeks ... the tool worked well. I stored the gun for a week and attempted to use it last week to find that it will not work now - when I attempt to pull the trigger you can feel the air rushing out of the gun from behind the trigger. I've tried troubleshooting with no success. I would return the product to Amazon but my window has closed, so I looked into the manufacturer warranty. This requires me to send the gun to them, pre-paid and insured postage, and then wait ... this cost would be close to the cost of the original purchase of the gun. At any rate, I lost on this gamble. Just wanted to put my experience out there. If the manufacturer read this and wants to contact me and send a new gun, I'll be happy to adjust my review; the gun was working like a 5-Star Tool until it failed. Thanks for reading. -Ben B.

Great product for the price
Just what the doctor ordered to finish adding trim to my latest renovation project. I used to use brad nailer to add baseboard and window moulding and trims, then go over the nail head with a bit of filler and paint. A friend of mine told me about pin nails and I decided to give it a try, especially since this project had some unpainted finished wood trim that I didn't want to use wood filler and stain on and worry about matching. These pin nails are almost invisible. Note: they do not hold as well as brad nails as they have no head in the traditional sense, I found I needed to add a few more nails at different angles to get some decent hold on the trim. The nailer is easy to set up and load and works perfectly. I wish the safety was a bit better designed as it's simply on/off and in the off position it will shoot a nail with nothing but a trigger pull, but if you are aware and careful it offers more flexible than the classic nailer safety mechanisms. I also wish it held nails larger than 1" long, but that works well for many applications.

Excelente producto!!

Perfect for what I was expecting
Very happy with this nailer, it is cheap and no frills. Don't let people saying 'theres no safety' deter you, this is standard on a nailer like this, sometimes those safety tips can leave marks on your finished product and these nailers are for finished nailing.I purchased this to do the trim and applied moulding in my kitchen, I am very happy with it. Nail holes are very inconspicuous, I was worried about having to fill and touch up but it won't be necessary at all. Went through about 50pins and did not jam once. Perfect for a DIY project.

Muy buena
Creo que por lo muy delgado del clavo, se tiene que de vez en vez ayudarle en el empuje de los clavos. Me parece, fuera de lo anterior, es una muy buena herramienta
