I need to take it longer to see if it is helping my gut. I found there is a tiny bit less bloatonf.

I don’t know what was going on with my guts but I slowly started to develop heartburn and general upset stomach and bloating that would not go away. If I didn’t have heartburn then my stomach hurt and vice versa. It got so bad I went to the hospital to rule out heart problems because my chest hurt so bad. Luckily that all checked out fine and I went back to my doctor who sent me to a specialist who wanted to put a tube down my throat but only after 8 weeks on Omeperazole.I didn’t want to take the acid blockers because of what I read about them so I started doing research to find a cure for this discomfort and pain. After much reading and watching videos I started a self treatment program that has been working great so far.First thing in the AM I take pepzin GI in pill form with water, then before each meal I take chewable licorice tablets. After I eat my meals I eat a thick slice of raw ginger, just chew it up and swallow the juices. Throughout the day I sip on organic coconut water. Then right before bed I take the Healthy Gut powder in water. After a week my symptoms have improved dramatically.I’ve felt a couple times what I thought was the start of heartburn but it has gone away on its own and my stomach pain and bloating has gone way down. My bowel is a lot more regular as well.This product has worked well for me and I have to think that if someone is complaining about the taste they must not have been in as much pain as I was because I would’ve drunk anything to make the pain go away.Having said that, my only complaint is that it is way too sweet but I can deal with that.

I have used the other brand of L-glutamine without flavor and it was a little to chalky for my so I decided to give this one a try and it has a nice flavor just a little too sweet for my liking. In order to cut the sweetness out I use more water. I haven't noticed a difference in my waist line as of today.

The media could not be loaded. The taste is great! It blends well in smoothies. I feel like it taste more like banana than peaches but 10/10 helped heal my gut with in the first 2 weeks of using it!

I ordered this product to help address my leaky gut and this product is great. The taste is terrific (green apple) and it mixes really well in my Yeti. I fill it up with ice in the morning and put two scoops in and drink it all day long...adding more and more water. It's too soon to tell if it's helping my gut, but overall I will stick with this product!

The taste of this supplement is great and it smells really good too, its easy to drink and has a very pleasant flavor. Unfortunately, I didn't read the description very well and this is formulated for a condition called "leaky gut" which I do not have, I have been dealing with inflammation and constipation and was just looking for something to help gut health in general. Even the back of the product says it constricts your intestines, which I didn't see until later either, so it's definitely my fault for not reading up on this before taking it. Symptoms started getting WORSE and by day 3 I was in debilitating pain and could hardly move. Whoops, this was definitely the cause of it and I felt immediately better the day after I stopped taking it. I could see this working well if you do have leaky gut and need your intestines constricted, it definitely works for that, but if your dealing with any actual inflammation of your intestines I'd stay far far away. This caused me nothing but delicious tasting misery.

UPDATED REVIEW: I've discovered after taking this product for several months that this product does NOT have enough l-glutamine in it to fix leaky gut. What you need to do is take 30g of FREE FORM l-glutamine (It has to say Free Form or you'll have constipation) for TWO WEEKS along with Philips Colon Health and you will be back to normal. Be patient! It takes time. Terra Origin helped me but also caused me to have deep-down discomfort soon after the morning movement because of the herbal ingredients in it (slippery elm and marshmallow root in particular). That being said, I still keep the jar around the house.ORIGINAL REVIEW: It's solved all my digestive problems that I've had for twenty-five years! Only in the past five years did they get much worse, going from severe cramps to severe constipation. I didn't know what I had because I didn't have any of the IBS symptoms (no pain, for instance). It was so frustrating!After reading a comment from a person regarding another product I had tried where he said that he took slippery elm and marshmallow root daily, I did a search for those ingredients and this powder came up. I tried it on a whim. I only needed to take it for ONE DAY before I saw results! Holy cow! This stuff is fantastic! I'm taking it daily now. I don't want to ever go back to cramps and constipation.

WAY, WAY TOO SWEET!!!!If you are buying this for health, don't. Too sweet to drink by directions. Would be better unsweetened, then add as needed.
