Does the job.
I love Otis! He does the job of diverting steam away from our poorly painted wooden cabinets in our rental home. Recommend adopting an Otis for your instant pot! 👍🏻

Nelson is an necessary addition to your multi-cooker
Meet Nelson, he is a Dragon who breathes steam from a pressure cooker in a valiant effort to save your kitchen cabinets from certain destruction. If you are cooking with a multi-pot and you don't have an island chances are your multi-pot is sitting under some wall mounted cabinets. Over time the steam vented from the multi-pot can begin to warp, mold, delaminate or ruin the finish on your cabinets. Nelson solves this problem and he's adorable. The steam vents out of his mouth and away from the underside of the cabinets above. Nelson fits a variety of multi-pots.There are two drawbacks to Nelson. First he is cute. I don't have small children but I could see a young child reaching for him and potentially getting burned by accidentally moving the steam release valve so PLEASE watch children carefully around this. Second, Nelson is a pain in the rear to clean. The steam is vented through Nelson. It comes up from the bottom and out his mouth so it looks like he is breathing smoke. It's pretty cool but the condensation builds up and he inevitably gets water built up inside him. He has a white ring that can be removed in his base. I have no idea what this is for but since it was included I assume it's important and keep it there. When you remove this ring you can see that he has a ridge of material along the bottom that this ring rests against when inserted. This material forms a lip and the water is caught and trapped in here. When you turn him upside down to drain the water from here it all goes into his nose with very little of it coming out of his mouth. So then you turn him right side up and it all drains back into his base. While this is just water from the steam, there is likely some food particles that escape with the steam and over time I can see this getting gross! I imagine it turning into slime or mold. So EVERY time I use Nelson I turn him upside down when done, cram the majority of a paper towel in his underside so the majority of it rests around his neck. Then I flip him back over and twist around the paper towel as much as possible to dry out his insides. He is dishwasher safe I believe but that doesn't solve the problem of trapped water so this is the only solution I have found. it would be super nice if the manufacture would either close off his nose so water would drain out of his mouth. Closing off the gap around the base would then have the condensation drain right out the bottom and all over the top of your multi cooker so I like the idea of closing off the nose better.Pros:CuteSaves your expensive kitchen cabinets from moisture damageFits a variety of modelsCons:Hard to cleanCan lead to harm if someone grabs him to look at him not realizing what he is and that he is dangerous

mostly works
The fitting this on has to be just right for the Ultra model. It kind of just hangs over the top and can get kinda wobbly. There's a little slot on its side which I think is made to fit properly over the different valve type of the Duo-type models. For the Ultras though, make sure when seating it, things are as firm as can be. Otherwise what can happen is it may tilt the valve release a little and the unit will be steaming out the entire time your meal is cooking. Perhaps an extra issue for me is the original steam release valve got melted and I am currently using a 3rd party replacement which itself has an altered fit issue, as they replaced the o-ring type bottom of the original piece with a snug metal clip. That was a surprise from ordering that, so please keep in mind if you ever have to replace yours. I'll be reordering that from Instant brand itself once they get back in stock. While a steamy dragon or any other decorative topper like this can be a fun thing, do keep in mind that as a common thing to do is turn the lid upside-down right after opening, the big rubber topper is now in the way. You can't just remove it with your hand or you'll risk getting some of the near-boiling water from inside it spilling all over you.

Love this guy because he looks like my husband😂
Funny little fella that gets “mad” when releasing the steam. Entertaining to me! Cute gift for anyone with an Instant Pot!

Nice Steam Release Diverters, but quality control needs to do a better job.
I purchased both Henry and Ruby for my two DUO60 Instant Pots and, for the most part, I am very pleased. Upon receiving both, I noticed that the ears on Ruby had not been cut out to allow for the steam release (see attached pics). I had seen in an earlier review where another customer had the same issue, so that was the first thing I checked. I had to have my husband cut both ear holes out so that I could use Ruby. Needless to say it was difficult to get them cut out without causing damage. Also Henry has several spots on the paint coating that were scuffed and had missing paint, but just cosmetic defects. As I said for the most part I like them both. They are very difficult to place on the Instant Pot steam nozzles, if you have problems with your hands, such as arthritis, you may not be able to use them. You have to place the point of the nozzle into the holes in the Steamate and then force the nozzle inside. The first couple of times I had to get my husband to put them on for me and remove them so I could wash them, but now I am able to get them on myself. As for performance, they are great and do exactly what I wanted them to do. The steam no longer goes under my cabinets when released. And they are so cute! If you are wanting a steam diverter for your Instant Pot, check these out.

Does what it says on the tin
Bought this as a novelty present for my better half who is firmly emotionally attached to her Instant Pot.It fits snugly, there's not much to fitting it apart from pushing it onto the valve. The valve is sensitive to touch (as my right sleeve has found when reaching over it for a glass out the cupboard receiving a refreshing blast of high pressure steam up my forearm). The plastic material is quite dense and if slightly off centre, it can cause the valve to leak steam. From my forearm experience, poking it gently with a long spoon handle to balance correctly stops the steam escaping. If you have it on timer and you're out for the day, this could present a problem so beware.Apart from that, Puff as we affectionately call him, has earned his keep keeping steam off the underneath of the kitchen units without losing any of his lustre.

Doesn't work with my Ninja Foodi 😞
I was super pumped to use my Nelson! It was hard to get it onto my Ninja Foodi release valve but managed by heating it up in some hot water. He is super cute but..... I attempted to pressure cook with it on and my foodi did not come to pressure and seal as it is supposed to. Steam was escaping the entire time! After further inspection I think the hole is too deep into the diverter part. Also, the position on the seal and vent valve must be different on an instant pot as when Nelson is in the release position on my foodi, he sends steam further under my upper cabinets which completely defeats it's purpose!
