Accurate, easy to use, phone app needs a little work
I have been using this version of the Tempo Disc for about a month now to monitor temperatures, humidity and pressure in a greenhouse that I manage and I am very happy with its performance so far. The disc arrives in some great packaging: a little screw top metal case (the included candy from the UK was also much appreciated!) and was very easy to pair to my phone (while snacking on said candy). I have tested the accuracy of temperature and humidity with a calibrated Hanna handheld meter, and both were very close, temperature within about a half of a degree and RH within 4%, which is excellent for a high humidity environment like a tropical greenhouse. It is easy to monitor the sensor and download its data with my phone. The one weakness I have noticed is with the phone app. In particular , the scaling of graphs can be way off. For the temperature graph, I have to scroll and zoom out quite a bit to see the portion of the graph with data on it. The axes and scaling of the pressure graph also make it very difficult to find the data on the graph Of course, you do have the option of exporting data as a CSV and looking at it in Excel, R, ..., but it sure is convenient to monitor it my phone instead of going that route. All in all, a great product, and I plan to purchase more discs soon for my other greenhouses.

Wonderful little data recorder.
Great device. It measure 1.3 inch diameter and .4 inch thick. Very easy to operate. Extremely good battery life. The best feature is the ability to calibrate each of the 4 sensors. I found it especially useful for measuring the pressure inside vacuum food containers (it only goes down to 300 hPa or 4.3 psi or .3 atmospheres though, so not for high vacuum use). You can set the Logging interval anywhere from 1 sec to 20864 seconds (5.8 hours). You have to hold the button down for about 7 seconds to turn off.

Calibration way off, their cloud is garbage, and awful customer service.
In short, I bought one of these to test out for a project me and a couple of college buddies are working on. These seemed like an excellent and relatively inexpensive solution for us. So I received it and in a contained environment, compared its readings to three other different devices that were accurate and calibrated. It was wayyyyyyy off with the humidity. 10 to 11% to be precise. The temperature was only slightly off and the pressure was correct. The dew point doesn't follow a formula based on temp, humidity, and (sometimes) pressure. It's a separate calibrated value which is weird tbh. Now lets move on to the android app. I have yet to download data on the first try. Never. It takes two, three, or I have to even close the app and reload it. The graphs and the layout of the app are good and not confusing tho. Ok, now the cloud. As for uploading data to the cloud; it worked until it didn't, and even when it did it was half baked. For example if you chose Celsius for units you get Fahrenheit and vs. The pressure is graphed with the uncalibrated dew point values for some reason. Now, I can try to upload data but I get an error in the app. I go to my pc to check the cloud and and the log is there but its empty and immediately logs me out of my account when I click on it. I've tried two different browsers with all extensions off to see if that was the issue. Nope. Don't even get me started on the slop that is kicked out as a .csv file. I've tried contacting customer service by email and a support ticket. Ive taken detailed screenshots and sent them as .pdf's. Nothing. Its a shame because we wanted to buy several more and have them certified. I guess they don't want the business. The "case studies" on their webpage have to be bs because no organization would be ok with any of this. I'd say I'm disappointed but its beyond that. This is one of the rare few times that I have actually become angry at a company and their product. Well anyways that wasn't so short but rather a long rant. Next time I'll just take three $20 bills out of the ATM, burn them, and get the same result.

Small, lightweight, 4 point data logging.
Not sure of the accuracy. I don’t really have a way to test it. It is consistent though, and offsets can be applied in the app if I do find a way to test its accuracy. This device logs data points for retrieval later. With the app you can download the data, adjust time intervals, and view the most recent (current) reading for each data point being logged (i.e. you can see current DB, RH, Pressure, DP)You cannot view the log history without downloading it. AND, when you download the log history, all previously stored data points are purged from the devices memory.I wish there was a way to schedule automatic downloads of the data log.I wish there was a way to mount or hold the device in a cradle or attach it to a keyring or something.I wish there was a way to change the units for pressure. You can select Celsius or Fahrenheit for temperatures in the app but there’s no option for units of pressure.I purchased this device to help me track and correlate conditions that impact asthma symptoms and sinus issues. A way to easily carry the tempo disc with me as I move about my day would be great.

Easy to use and effective way to humidity in difficult areas
The good points:Very small, easy to pop somewhere to measure local temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure and dew point (the temperature when condensation can be expected to form). It's a great way to be able to help determine whether your problem, for instance - behind kitchen cupboards adjacent to an outside wall in an old house, inside a boat or in a garage or Carcoon protecting a classic car - is one of humidity or rising damp. Bear in mind conventional DIY damp testers measure electrical conductivity, not dampness, and are usually affected by salts or other chemicals in concrete, render and suchlike. They are really designed to be used on wood. Yes, they can be a useful guide, but don't rely on them to give definitive result. If you have high humidity, you may need to look at increasing ventillation to clear the problem, or maybe increasing the temperature (a small wattage tube heater may suffice). At least this tool gives you more information to make a decision. The device downloads to a log which can be updated as often as you want and this is easily set in "settings". Once you have downloaded the app to your phone and set it up (which is easy), you can get almost instant readouts from the device. Yes, it initially takes time for the data to settle, so don't expect instant accuracy. The data updates frequently and at the predetermined time is recorded into the log.To create a log, tap on the device identity you have been looking at and you will be taken to a screen inviting you to download the log, which is simple to get into. A major plus is that you don't need to designate your phone purely for this duty for fear of losing data. You can carry on with your normal life, phone in hand, and all the data collected by the device will be downloaded next time you create a log. You can then delete any old logs, just keeping the latest, complete, one if you wish. It's easy to toggle between the log screen and the device screen or vice versa - buttons at the bottom of the screen. The device can be switched if not in use, but I haven't tried that yet.Fabulous customer service if you need more information or help. The instruction card gets you up and running and shows how to change the battery, but not much more.Points to bear in mind:It's a very small transmitter so its range is not great. You may have to bear this in mind if the device is located behind panelling or similar - anything that might make it more difficult to communicate through. You might just have to get closer to the transmitter, maybe leave a clutter-free area close to it on the cupboard floor. Also, working kettles, microwaves and suchlike will cause difficulty, but normal service is restored when they've finished their jobs. You won't lose data during any of this. Conclusion:I have been using one of these for a week or so and found it to be a really helpful aid to determining what the problem I face actually is, and using it to explore some solutions to it without having to call in the experts - or at least calling them in just yet! It's a cost effective tool that's largely intuitive to to use, informative and helpful.I have no brief for the company making or selling the gizmo, but it seems they have identified a gap in the market for those who would otherwise be forced to call in experts, rely on damp meters that are unsuited for the job (although, as stated above, they can be "helpful") or spend an awful lot of money to buy professional equipment. They seem to have tried hard to produce something that is both useful and sensibly priced and I have no doubt it is of good quality.I am not known for my love of leaving reviews, I refuse to get involved with social media and therefore don't do this lightly, but I can recommend this product to you if, for whatever reason, you need to monitor temperature, humidity or dew point in a hard to reach area, you want to compile data logs on the issue or you just want a bit more information on what might be causing you angst.

A good little gadget, shame about the manual.
I've been using this now for over a month in my greenhouse. It gives good and useful information about the conditions in the greenhouse. It can download information onto my phone and from there I can send it to my laptop for analysis. My only complaint is that the software is quite difficult to use. The instruction manual is brief to the point of being terse. It does work but intuitive it isn't. Maybe someone should rewrite the manual. It has the look of having been written by the software writers rather than someone who actually uses it.However that niggle aside I'm getting good information from it and it sure beats having to read a thermometer several times a day. I set it to take hourly readings which I download daily.Definitely recommended for gardeners who want to know what is going on 'weatherwise'.Since writing this review, after about a year the device seems to have failed. I can't get it to save or transmit information. Changed the battery, just in case, but to no avail. When it works, it works well, but when it doesn't there is nothing in the manual to help and online help does not seem to exist.I now have a fairly useless gadget. I'll keep persevering with it, but I'm not hopeful.

awesome piece of tech
These are great bits of kit. The battery seems to last forever and the quality of the data (through the excellent app) is exactly what I needed. The app allows significant customisation which makes for even more flexibility. I had one with a duff switch, but the others I have bought have been spot on. Replacing the duff one, the shop did me a great service .. Royal mail let them down by “losing” my delivery .. they quickly sent out another one, arriving next day – excellent service all round.

Tempo Disc to be used as a monitoting system.
This disc is to be used as a monitoring system behind fitted wardrobes in pre 1940 bungalow. During refurb of the bedroom black mould was found in the space between the fitted wardrobes and outside wall. This was caused by a lack of ventilation behind the wardrobes, tests of the walls indicated no rising damp. The new wardrobes have been designed with ventilation access. What was now required was a form of ventilation, this will be provided by a 30 watt extraction fan mounted in the roof space and a ventilation grill in the ceiling behind the fitted wardrobes. The Tempo disc will be mounted on the wall behind the wardrobes, this will provide information on the environmental conditions behind the wardrobes so that the extraction fan can be scheduled to run at the required times to maintain an environment which prohibits the growth of mould. Access to the Tempo disc will be via the ventilation grill in the wardrobes. At the moment the Tempo disc is mounted on the wall in the area where it will be finally installed. It is giving me very good data at the moment allowing me to build a data base. The operation of the disc is simple and very reliable as I have checked it with other room monitors. Had one slight problem, not so much with the Tempo disc but with my phone and app, one call to the customer service and it was sorted within 10mins. In summary excellent piece of kit with excellent backup service.

Limited Range, Poor Accuracy
Range seemed limited, struggled at anything over 3m. and that was a line of sight connection. At that distance my iPhone only managed a connection in after several attempts. Placing the phone next to the sensor didn't make a significant improvement.Add:Used for 18 months now and bought two other sensors. This one has poorest range and poorest accuracy.
