Paul Nash: Landscape and the Life of Objects

Whilst I have always admired Nash's work produced as a war artist, I became aware of how little I knew of the man after having visited the recent exhibition of his works. This book has at least in part helped fill in that gap in my knowledge by providing a fine collection of his more well known work and details as to influences that effected his progression as an artist. I did find the chapter concerning Nash's work as an illustrator quite heavy going, but otherwise the information is given in easily readable form.

Beautiful book, bought as a gift for my 83 year old father. He was utterly delighted with the book, as was I.To bring the joy of Paul Nash's exceptional work into your life, I cannot recommend this book too highly.

A very nice book about this very British artist with lots of small illustations of Nash's work including drawings & etchings which are stunning. I would have liked some larger plates though.
