USB C to 3.5mm Audio Adapter and Charger, 60W Fast Charging, Realtek DAC, Compatible with Samsung, Google Pixel, iPad Pro

After trying and returning two other, slightly less expensive, adapters that did not work, I ordered this one. The others were designed with two separate cords coming out of the male USB C connector going to the phone. Though the others claimed to be PD 3.0 compatible, my Pixel 6 would not charge via the other cables. This one works. It properly negotiates fast charging with my power adapters. The audio controls on wired earbuds work: volume up, volume down and play/pause. It also properly supports the microphone on the wired earbuds. The audio quality is excellent.Though the description for this cable says it does not work for AUX car input, I find that it works fine when I use this adapter to drive the cabled AUX input in my car to listen to music from the phone in the car.

UPDATE 2/6/20:I must amend this review to 5 stars because of the excellent customer service and support I received from Elsa at Linklike. She kindly (and rapidly) sent me a replacement adapter to test, which I put through hard use for 2 months to verify that it would not have any issues-- I am very pleased to report that the replacement is in perfect operating condition after heavy use. My problem is completely solved, and I want to make a special thanks to LinkLike customer support-- she was exceedingly polite and helpful through the entire process from complaint to resolution. I can happily recommend this for anyone needing a sturdy adapter that will hold up to abuse and the test of time. Thanks guys!**OLD REVIEW BELOW**For the money this was a pretty disappointing purchase-- I wanted a solid dongle (since cellphone makers force customers to outsource these basic functions on their own dime now) that would let me charge and listen with my headphones at the same time. The unit worked fine for a few months, but the inner components where the plugs go in came loose and disconnected from the metal sleeve that surrounds it-- this is under light use (it stays plugged in to the car charge port--so it wasn't from banging around in pockets or packs. It was just poorly made.

UPDATE: Original review below. Customer service for this product is truly outstanding. They not only refunded my money but sent me a replacement product as well. After using the replacement for about a month putting it through it's paces I have determined that the product is worth the price but there are a few things to know up front. The first product was simply flawed (see below). The replacement did not do the same thing even though I treated it kind of rough. It does have the tendency to to pause when the cord is bumped when using headphones that have volume/pause button built in. Did not do the same thing with my headphones that did not have this function. All in all a decent product but the best thing is if it turns out not to be the company will stand behind it.-------------------------I just actually put this product to the test last week when I was TDY at Fort Sam Houston. It worked great for a couple of days and was necessary since I was out of the office and unable to keep my phone in it's normal docking station. One definite Pro is that it allows for Rapid charging so my phone charged very quickly when plugged in Via this device. But ultimately the purpose is to be able to charge the phone while listening on headphones. For whatever reason the device after a couple of days when jiggled would either stop the podcast or worse start the podcast playing through the phone speakers. So the plane ride home I kept moving my phone just a little bit and when I did everyone sitting next to me would have to then start hearing my podcast which I would stop disconnect the device reconnect the device which would sometimes work and sometimes not. I finally just gave up and read a book on my phone instead. Epic fail in my opinion. I plan on buying a new one from another company which is not as cheap but highly rated. If it works better I will edit this review and let you know the brand.

Amazing how much effort and research needs to go into finding a product that would allow me to charge my Galaxy Tab S7+ and use headphones at the same time. The number of horror stories of compatibility issues, poor volume, etc. from competing products made me hesistate on buying any of them. But I really didn't want to deal with charging another device, I just want to be able to use my normal wired headphones, is that too much to ask?Happy to say that the I took a shot on the LinkLike adapter and I'm happy I did. It works perfectly. Plugged in my power, then my headphones, and then plugged it into the Tab S7+ and I got auto and power at the same time, no muss...no fuss. This is how it's supposed to be a simple product that does what it's supposed to do.The only thing I think I could ask for is for it to be a little smaller, but who knows...that prevent it from working right or introduce interference. So five stars for it being what it is, a good product that does what it's supposed to do.

This adapter seems to be high quality and I like how it doesn't stop the iPad speakers when headphones aren't plugged in. However, when you do plug in headphones, there is a noticeable static sound. This sound goes away when you start playing media – it's only there when you don't have anything playing. Still, other adapters I've tried did not have this issue.Seems to draw an abnormal amount of power from the devices it's plugged in to.UPDATE: After a few months of using, the connectors have become further recessed inside the casing. The adapter still works, but the USB-C port no longer makes solid connection and comes out really easily.UPDATE 2: First adapter stopped working after about 2 months. Ordered a replacement which was dead on arrival. Customer service is non-existent.UPDATE 3: Yet another adapter stopped working.

It's a simple solution to the lack of headphone jack on the Tab S7. Keeps me from having to have a Bluetooth headset on my head for hours every day.

Bought this adapter to use with my iPad Pro 2018. It works flawlessly and deliver a good sound quality to my headphones. The package was delivered to the wrong address (neighbour was kind enough to bring it to me), but delivery happened 4 days ahead of planned date. Very happy with this purchase.
