There is a yellow hook plus another blue/green piece in addition to the loom. What is the other piece used for, please?

My son says that this piece is called a Mini Loom. If you search "Rainbow Loom Mini Loom" on YouTube, you can find videos showing you how to utilize this piece.

It is very good quality. We have had different brand looms and this one is legit. My 8 yr old son looms for hours daily so I would say it is pretty strong!
