This was a christmas present for someone, and they really ended up liking it, it was fun and easy to grow. There were other items that were similarly offered elsewhere but this was for a good price. I would buy this again.

I tried multiple mushroom growing kits. One was an oyster mushroom from another company and the other was Bloombox with Lion's Mane. The Oyster mushroom kit grew 1 mushroom while the Bloombox Lion's Mane kit grew two large clusters on the front and then on the back. Instructions were easy to follow and when I reached out to customer service about a question about an optional water bottle sprayer they responded back immediately. It was great to be able to grow a beneficial mushroom like Lion's Mane at home and I highly recommend the Bloombox.

Decent growth, worth it if you want to try it once, not good for growing more batches. This is the 2nd run in a month, just make sure you spray it everyday and give it some sun every now and then, if your going to plant it outside, plant near a pine tree it grows better.

I've grown other mushrooms, like wood ear, in the past and I have to say the included instructions sound fun but they aren't nearly as clear as they think they are. They have "steps" and some of them are what you're supposed to do but they don't tell you a lot of the whys and wheres of what you're doing so some steps may not be necessary at all for you but you won't know that because they want it to sound fun. For example, they include a "humidity tent" but use some weird terminology about unfolding it like a book or something and then don't tell you when you'd actually need it. Many people won't need it at all but they don't tell you that. I don't yet know how well they'll grow because I spent 3 days trying to make sense of the instructions and then finally just got on youtube and watched a video from someone else who releases their own kits and actually understands what the end user needs to know. Oddly they didn't even include a humidity tent in their kit, as though it weren't necessary.

My bf and myself love going mushroom hunting, and I’ve grown my own mushrooms plenty before so I wanted to get him started with a simple basic. This was so much fun and very easy to do. Just follow the instructions everything you need it comes with!

Firstly, I was suspicious about how it will grow on my balcony in apartment in Spain in September, but I gave a try. How I was happy to see first body coming out of cut on the box😁! Incredible, fast y growing. I just placed wet folded towel under the box and here we go. After 3 weeks of waiting, taking first mashroom. Want to see if second will come out. Excited to buy more of this product and try different types of mashrooms. Great product.

I love the ease of this all inclusive kit. Just follow the simple directions on the side and sit in indirect sunlight.Not having luck with the lions mane but the customer service is excellent and they sent me a new box to try again. I should’ve probably started out with oyster mushrooms.Update:This kit worked great! I had them on a plant stand and covered them with a thin clear garbage bag and then put a humidifier under it to get them to finally bloom! When you slice into it out some water in it also. That helps! When you get your mushrooms and cut them off they will grow again so keep doing what you’re doing! They didn’t work with just the cups of water and spray. I humidified for a few hours morning and evening.
