Yes! It allows you to set the lighting from low to very high, and it allows you to direct the light at different angles. It's an excellent lamp.

Is this lamp corded with a regular plug, or does it need a USB port?

The lamp is corded with a standard u tied States plug. There is no USB on the lamp.

Can the light be adjusted vertically so i can use it as a video conference lighting (i.e. Zoom, Teams)?

Yes it can go vertical. It has warm and cool light options. However I do not do zoom meetings so I can’t speak exactly to how it would look
