I am not aware of makita selling their 40v xgt 4.0ah batteries in a 2-pack. are these batteries shipped and sold individually?

Disappointing and scam to buy more expensive tools that the ones you already have.

Im giving these batteries 1 star not because they are junk. But because EVERY other competitor has made their batteries interchangeable. With these you literally have to BUY A WHOLE NEW LINE!! WHICH MAKES NO DAMN SENSE. I have personally been using makita for ove 30 yrs now and my father before me swore by them when he had his own painting and house construction buisness. So I am very disappointed to say the least because Makita in our home has always been associated with top of the line and innovative as well as longevity. Now this is simply to make you purchase brand new line of tools that are even MORE money than the already thousands you already spent with the other tools and batteries. Not to mention the costs these days 180$ for 1 5amp hr battery come the hell on. Its the same battery a year and a half ago I paid 130$ for 2 - 5amp hrs at home depot. This is HAS GOTTEN out of hand and needs to be corrected. But I am just one person what done know?
