Great PH tester
This Device worked way better than the junk PH testers I had bought before. The light-up display feature made it incredibly easy to read the display in any lighting situation. So far, it has exceeded my expectations.

pH tester review
Comes with three different pH buffer powders. Batteries inside the tester. As well as extra batteries. A guide on how to use the pH tester. Turned on perfectly and turns off easily as well. I’d recommend this pH tester kit for first timers.

Calibration is weird
Somewhat hard to calibrate, but it feels like decent quality. Easy to use and quick to use after calibration

Gambling With Garbage
If you buy this, you're gambling with garbage. Maybe you'll get one that works. Or, maybe like me, you'll get one that won't even calibrate, gives an error, and then just jumps all over. The instructions were pretty easy and the process of calibrating is simple. The product itself is garbage though. I should have just gotten strips but I wanted to test some Alkaline water too which can't be done accurately with strips. Just filtering the reviews to show most recent first, and verified purchases only, revealed significant other complaints. I wouldn't recommend anyone bother with this. Even if I was offered a second one for free, I would decline. It's not worth the effort.

Good When Calibrated, but then…
Freshly calibrated, this meter works fairly accurately (within .2-.4 of other sources I trust. I mean, really, for well under $10, it’s bargain! HOWEVER…There is a reason the instructions say to calibrate daily, before each use. After using it about 3 times, in various solutions I found it to be 1.5 units off! But once recalibrated, the circus was back in town and it once again gave accurate readings. But I’m just not willing to go through the calibration hassle before using each time. I even tried a trick a buddy should me where you stuff a tiny bit of cotton, torn off of a ball, way in the back of the lid and very slightly moisten it (6-8 drops?) with distilled water; this is suppose to keep the glass reading probe very slightly moist and therefore help keep it better calibrated. If you’re after accurate readings, and are on a budget, and are willing to pay for extra calibration powder packets, and do the calibrating before every use, this meter might work for you.I returned it and went back to my Biopharm droplet test kit—pretty accurate and reliable (General Hydroponics also makes a good droplet test kit, but not with the .5 increments that the Biopharm reads at).

This is a good buy and easy to use
This is a good buy and easy to use. Mix the reagent with 1 cup water and calibrate with one button. Read my pool pH with one button. I lost my pH probe exactly like this and replaced it with a new one.

Best meter out there!
I never thought I'd become an amateur chemist in my own kitchen, but here I am, wielding the VIVOSUN Digital pH Meter like a modern-day Merlin. This little gadget has been a revelation! It's so easy to use and calibrate, even a goldfish could probably do it (though I wouldn’t recommend letting them; they’re notoriously bad at following instructions). Now, I must confess, this is my second round with this magical device. Not because the first one failed me—no, quite the contrary. It's just that I found changing the batteries to be akin to defusing a bomb with tweezers and a blindfold. So, in the spirit of "treat yo' self," I decided to just buy a new one instead. And let me tell you, it was worth every penny. Why do I love it, you ask? Well, it’s as easy to use as pushing a button, and calibrating it is a breeze—just make sure you follow the instructions. I learned that the hard way when I skipped a step and momentarily believed my tap water could be a secret chemical weapon, reading off the charts like hydrochloric acid. After a brief moment of existential dread and contemplating a call to the authorities, I realized my folly and recalibrated. Crisis averted.P.S. Don’t forget to get some PH down… you’re gonna need it if you’re reading this!
