When I got my trash can, I really thought the odor filter was a gimmick. I was wrong. The filter sat, unnoticed, for quite a few months, when all of a sudden, my trash was smelling up the house. I had no idea how vile my trash was! And then I remembered the filter...and the fact that I didn’t have any new ones. So I VERY quickly ordered replacements, and in the meantime, I threw in a fish tank charcoal filter I had. Well, it was either that or move out of the house until the REAL filters arrived! The fish tank filter helped, but it sure didn’t cure the problem. FINALLY the real filters arrived. OMG! What a difference! These filters work SO well. I can finally can take a deep breath of air in my house! (The last part isn’t true...the smell was so bad, even with the fish tank filter, doubled up, that I put the whole thing in my garage until the filters arrived.). I swear that I will never run out of filters again! So if you have a trash can that takes filters, stock up, people! Even the scented bags that go in it, they’re not going to save you! Buy these long lasting filters!

First, Amazon you really need to clean up your reviews this page is for iTouchless 3-Pack AbsorbX Odor Filter Deodorizers not a trash can but that is all I'm seeing. Not just this but all over your site so get your act together and clean this mess up. Now i have owned my Itouchless trash can for months and this will be the first time replacing the Deodorizer bag it came with so I'll see if it matters or not. The closed lid really holds in the odor but once open which isn't a surprise comes rushing out but how well this works to lessen that remains questionable since never had trash can that uses this. Hopefully it will make a difference and be stretch to every 4 months for replacing but guess depends how stinky your garbage is 🤭👍.Update: been few weeks since changed filter and seams it does matter, it does help reduce odors pretty well but it can be overwhelmed and doesn't last forever 3 to 4 months but i would say worth the investment.

If you haven't purchased one of these lovely trashcans, what are you waiting for! When I saw my daughter's, I coveted it. I have a pantry and it slides right in and takes up almost no room. The filters work wonderfully. They are easy to install and work for a very long time. It is only me now and I take out trash only once a week and it never smells. Bags are easily put in and the can is easy to clean. You need this machine.

I’m not sure if this is correct but 30.00 I got 1pack of 3 pieces. I’m sure this order was filled incorrectly missing two packages.

I have no idea why you would need this to be smudge-proof or easy to clean. I don't think this was even designed to be cleaned. But what it does do is take away trash odors. I was skeptical at first until I through something in that smelled bad without adding one of these packets. Once I added the packet, it pretty much eliminated any smell coming from the trash.

Not bad and I am sure that we should change them more frequently than we do currently, but they are quite expensive.
