I got tired of my old plates, which were wearing out after 20 years or more. It was time for a new design, and the family (after a 2 year search) found this pattern that everyone agreed was delightful! So we got them, and have been happily using them for the past few weeks. They never fail to bring a smile, especially since there is, amongst the variety of watercolor flowers, a ladybug and a bee. The colors are vivid but not too loud, and food looks appetizing on this pattern. I don't forsee getting tired of these! And they are sturdy enough for daily use and washing. I admit, I haven't put them in a dishwasher as I don't have one. But they wash up by hand just fine, and look good as new. It says on the packaging that they are dishwasher/microwave safe. I have put them in the microwave, and they are fine with that, don't get dangerously hot when I take them out--tho it is best to use a pot holder (which we call, er, fluffies.)We bought this pattern in two sizes of plates, and the bowls, four each. And we love them all. <3

These dishes are extremely beautiful, just a little delicate for my crew at this time. They are a generous size and weight and would compliment a beautiful spring & summer table

beautiful dishes ...minus 1 stat- set of 4???? needs at least set of 6...also dinner bowls were very hard to find..(anyone want to split a set ?????)
