Very Happy with Ladybug Purchase
Ladybugs arrived in very good condition, very active. It was a hot day, and if the shipper hadn't put them in the shade until I found them perhaps this would not have been the case. I wasn't ready to let them go yet, so put them in the refrigerator as instructed for a few weeks. I used a refrigerator thermometer to be sure they didn't get too cold. I waited for an evening rain, and got ready to let them go. When I took them out of the refrigerator they looked dead, but I figured they were just cold. Soon they were crawling all over inside their package as very lively little creatures. I had planned to let them go on two different evenings, letting half of the lady bugs go each time. But once I opened their package I saw that that wasn't possible since they were all over the place. Herding lady bugs is worse than herding cats! So I let all of them go at once. I made a mistake in that I put them at the bottom of the tree I was using them for, and later read that I should have placed them in the branches. Nonetheless, photos at night with a flash showed an army of lady bugs on their way up the trunk of the tree. My guess is that a lot of them made it to the leaves. I think I made it considerably harder for them though by not putting them in the leaves in the first place. In the early morning I found some lady bugs crawling around on the ground near the tree (they don't fly at night) and caught a bunch of them and put them in the tree. The instructions from the seller were perfect. It was my mistake not to put them in the tree. I believe the seller when they say that the ladybugs are ready to start reproducing right away, and I think some of them probably laid eggs in the tree. I feel good about letting the ladybugs go on my property, and even if they fly to trees in the neighborhood and eat aphids there it is still good for the neighborhood overall. I'm very happy with the seller and with this purchase. Would definitely buy again.

As far as my eyes can see they’re all alive. Hey, thank you. Best but ever. Truly wonderful.

Ladybugs to the Rescue!
All my ladybugs arrived alive and hungry. Let them loose according to the directions and they went right to work on taking care of my aphids. Munch, Munch, yum!

Too hot this time of Year
I was, first, surprised as they shipped immediately but were out for delivery for nearly a week in hot summer heat. Secondly, when I received the package, a third were DOA. Thirdly, another third were very slow moving and their color was more brownish and sounded a bit crunchy. A third seemed healthy enough. I released them in the evening just before dark. I watered the garden and gave some food for ladybugs. The next morning the slow moving third were dead. I don't know how to scoop up all these dead ladybugs in my garden boxes for a refund. I don't want to order more as shipping is too slow and it is too hot and dry out here. As the description showed, they add extra in case a few don't make it. This was much more than a few... Not happy.

Didn't seem like 3000
There were a lot but 3000 ladybugs seems like a BIG stretch. I think there was only one or two dead in the bag I got so that's a plus.I might buy again. Even though I don't think the number included matches the description, the price is still reasonable for the amount I got.

Healthy ladybugs
The ladybugs took a while to ship here but despite that they were very active and healthy looking. I released them in the evening into the greenhouse and they immediately started drinking water and nectar and eating aphids etc. I am already seeing little yellow egg clusters everywhere. There were quite a few dead ones in the bag but I think they put extras in. They swarmed my plants, especially the lemon trees, completely covering the trunks and branches as they drank the water that I misted everywhere. The kids had a lot of fun helping me release them.

They came, they lived, they ate, they conquered.
We bought a milkweed plant for the monarch butterflies, but late in the Summer it became home to a massive infestation of oleander aphids.I've bought ladybugs many, many times before in the past, both in physical stores and online, and always found that at least a quarter of the bugs would be dead on arrival, best case. NOT SO THIS TIME! No more than a few dozen of the little guys were dead. The rest were alive ... and went straight for the aphids. It's been a few days, and most of the ladybugs have flown off, but we still have several hundred working on the aphid infestation. The aphid population is drastically reduced and the monarch caterpillars are growing and healthy again. All in all, it's been a great experience.
