We bought the 2 oz. and 4 oz. sizes to help get a handle on portion sizes in our house.In the past when we've made soups or stews we'd just dip a bunch out of the pot with a measuring cup but now that both of us are on prescribed weight loss regimens we had to get a bit more careful.The long handle makes them useful elsewhere - if you're a gardener they will work well for applying liquid fertilizers like compost tea.They're a little light weight - fine for home but likely wouldn't last in a commercial kitchen. Since they come in a 3-pack even if the kids bang them up you'll have backup.

These are great for what they are. They fit in small mouth jars, so work great for skimming the cream off the milk. We just wish they were one piece instead of two pieces welded together.

It does what I need it to do and is sturdy enough.

We needed a ladle to put in a large crock pot of hot cocoa. The ladle is long enough that the handle by default, rested on the side of the crock pot.

A little large and made out of very thin material. They won't last long. But then I'm 71 years old. I won't need them long. I'm not happy with my purchase
