It does cover ears on a normal sized head. The beanie would work well for temps as cold as 10-15°F

Can i wear this in the summer ?

I do not wear the one I have in the summer. But it is very light and thin material. So with that being said, it's possible it can be worn in the summer without getting too hot.

Excellent spring/fall hat

I have this hat in 3 colors, and use them often. Great for spring/fall in WI. They are pretty light for winter use, unless doing something very active. Perfect for a winter run, cross country skiing, etc.
