I have never cut my own hair before and I was extremely nervous, but an accident and ill health was making a visit to the barbers a real chore, so after much research into all the available hair clippers I could find on line these seemed the best bet and I decided to go ahead and get them. On receipt I followed the instructions and fully charged the unit then oiled the blades attached the largest comb and did as the instructions said starting at the back and cutting to the front and then back. Wow I should have done this a long time ago. These clippers are excellent, very easy to use and they work amazingly well. My hair was a good 2.5 inches long and in real need of cutting before I used the clippers and they went through it like a hot knife through butter, no snags, no pulls, no jams, no pain and my unit barely got warm. It took me very little time at all, and although it is only my first time a friend, who has cut his own hair for a long time, and his wife didn't realise I had done it myself, both of them thought I had it done at a barbers. I only hope they prove to be reliable and long lasting because so far I couldn't be more pleased with these clippers.

Just used it once, cutting my own hair for the first time.... excellent experience. Look much tidier than before. This clipper is very easy to hold and operate. Suggest using the various grade combs BEFORE fixing on the machine to get a feel of the depth and glide etc. Also of course start with a higher grade first and check. If you are severely shortsighted like me and need to remove glasses before trimming sides..be careful 🙂 it was ok though, I was cautious. Highly recommended kit and use the oil provided by them :)

I figured I could not make things worse. I will be honest I had few expectations. But at the cost of a couple of hair cuts, I had n't got much to lose. It comes with everything you need, different combes and you pretty much just run it over your head. I no use it every week and during the lockdown, it is keeping my hair tidy. A great little gadget. I didn't have any trouble holding it or using it. It was on offer when I bought it directly from Amazon, but the time it was shipped I could see it being sold for twice the cost so shop around.

I really didn't expect this! I ordered straight away after my Remington cutter broke down after around 5 years. I've seen different kinds of this type of cutter and told myself that it was time to do so. My head is a bit lumpy and I had my doubts but it glided over easily. Also, it was easy to make a good even cut throughout including difficult areas like near the ear area, side burns and the back of my head where hair grows thick and rapidly. The only criticism I would say is that it was a bit stiff changing the head graders but I suspect that might get easier with use. Overall, I would recommend this, well worth the money. Whether you are young or old and entering that time when close shaved hair is the only option due to baldness or thinning then this is the machine for you.

All those times you're checking yourself out in the mirror at home, try doing it in naked sunlight, that's how the rest of the world has been seeing you lately, and boy, it shines right through. It looks like you pritt-sticked a bunch of bum-fluff onto your scalp. Which is why you need this.Its easy. Swipe left and right with the grade one (its bi-directional) around your sides and back, high up towards your crown. Then up and down over the top with the grade 4. Then go round in between with the blended (2-4) to balance it. You'll expect your empty bathtub to look like a messy barber's floor afterwards but it won't, because you really don't have that much hair in the first place, probably enough to dress a mouse like Teen Wolf for its halloween party and that's it.Once you're done, shower those irritating flecky bits off, tell yourself some macho Jason Statham quotes to man-up, beat your chest like a gorilla and go out with a stick to beat off all those divorced chavs in your neighbourhood.

I wanted a clipper that was easy to use and purchased this having read the reviews. I am pleased I purchased this and yes it is very easy to use and gives a neat even finish. I had tried the usual style of clippers a while ago but gave up using them as I was getting uneven results. This is a super piece of kit especially if you are planning on cutting your own hair by yourself. Even on my first attempt I ended up with a neat even result.It is well made and comes with a pouch. Nice product to have with dual cutting technique. Easy to swing around your head without others help. One drawdown is that it has a smooth weak plastic outer and very slippery and there is no handgrip so can easily slip away from your had. I have broken mine already after only using twice but still functionable.

AmazingI bought this clipper to cut self-my hair because of the COVID-19 lockdown. I've never had to cut my own hair and was both scared and sciptic about it. However, what an amazing job it did in a matter of 5 minutes it gave a perfect even Cut. I used # 4 comb and the behind the ears one for behind the ears. For me this clipper has paid for itself in one usage. I don't understand people criticising it's size and weight in relation to gripping while in use. I had absolutely no problem with this issue. I gave the battery life 4 stars as I haven't used it long enough to test that aspect but I'll come back in a couple of months to report on it. I would 110% recommend this item
