i have a 45 lb. Australian Cattle Dog. Would a medium be a good size to order?

I got a large for my blue healer. He's 45 to 50lbs and it fits great. Due to his build the medium would be too small. I would recommend a large. The costume ties everywhere so even if it's a little big it should fit. :-D

My dog is a gaint schnauzer and he comes up to my waist. Should an XXL costume fit him?

Probably. The measurement that matters most with the Batman costume is the yellow belt - whatever size you order must be able to go around the torso toward the hind end of the ribcage. What I noticed by ordering costumes for my dogs last year is that bigger is not usually a bad thing...it seemed to make mine more comfortable wearing them.
