Quality and Functional Product. Well designed and Sturdy
Metal heatsink is functional, with a thermal pad included inside to wick heat from your M.2 SSD. The main body and latch mechanism is made from plastic but I've no concerns at all regarding quality. The plastic appears to be used in the right places for the price point without compromising functionality.20cm USB-C to USB-C cable is included (but no USB-A adapter, so just a heads up).Really simple but good design that allows for really easy opening and closing without tools. It's really convenient if you want to swap out the SSD (like I was looking for). This is capable of accepting multiple formats of M.2 ssd as well as multiple lengths. The SSD is secured with a plastic turn-tab, maintaining the toolless approach to this design

Really handy
Great little enclosure. I used it to transfer my documents from my old pc ( nvme gen.3 ) to my new one (nvme gen.4 ) after I had installed the graphics card and blocked the spare nvme port. It comes with a usb-c cable so it was pretty quick. Good build quality and worked right out of the box.

You need to buy an additional thermal pad. Great afterwards.
It works as you would think, slot your nvme and interface using usb c . Simple plug and play. When I did a 400gb write to a 500gb drive I saw temps in excess of 70 degrees c. The drive didn't throttle but if you're going to use this consistently then it's not good for drive health long term. I added an additional NVMe thermal pad and temps maxed out in the mid to high 50s never hitting 60 in the same stress test. I feel the enclosure is solid and the nvme is held down securely. I've seen people complain that it is too hard to move the knob but they are underestimating the importance of fastening down the drive.

good
Really good and easy to use! Great value and keeps the hard drive safe inside its sturdy case. The whole device is tiny but adequate in size.

No problem
Looks good and robust. No issues inserting my memory which has been removed from an old laptop. Works as expected. No issues with being recognised by my laptop. Used as a layered backup store.

A rambling opinion
This works really nicely. I have a few 2280 form factor SSDs, and with moving to a new PC it meant I didn't have as many motherboard slots to install them. Plus with an SSD upgrade I could consolidate some of the data. Most importantly I could get the data I needed from my 0% lifespan remaining SSD (go figure how the 0% works).Worked with my NVMe and M.2 SSDs. The little latch (in place of a screw) can be a little fiddly, finger size dependent, but it works well enough to secure the SSD in place.Included USB-C cable is short, but wouldn't want it too long anyway for most circumstances. The casing is a tool-less design so keeps excess fiddling low.I consider something like this as a handy thing to have rather than something in constant use. It is small enough to carry around if inclined.

Upgrade the cable and use a fast port for excellent results.
Fitted with a cheap 512GB M.2 and connected with a USB C 3.2 gen 2x2, 20Gbps cable into a Thunderbolt 4 port, and got a great result in CrystalDiskMark. Trying various cables and ports, the speed is highly dependant on the quality and speed of cable, and the type of USB port you connect to. I got better results from a 0.5M generic brand 20Gbps/240W cable than from the short cable included with the enclosure. Don't use a SATA M.2, they are too slow. I went for a slightly better than the cheapest NVMe, with a speed of 2150/1600 MB/s. Thermals seem good, no overheating apparent so far.
