Vandoren SR713 Soprano Sax V16 Reeds Strength 3; Box of 10

When I get a new mouthpiece, I spend a little time finding the right reed that fits the sound I have in my mind. I found that this was a perfect match for my Vandoren Optium SL5 mouthpiece. Works for me

I've used this product for many years. I like the feel and response with my old Meyer 9. I can usually get most of the reeds to a functional state. They last longer than some other brands I've used in the past

Very hard hitting. Great jazz reed with ease of control over dynamics and articulation. If you want a big, bright sounding reed that makes you stand out, this is the right one for you. If you want a creamier, supple reed, I would recomend the Java Red-Cut.
