It’s very time consuming to undertake this but worth it in the end instructions for running cables are not the greatest but you can find your own routes if you need to

Well the item arrived on time. Slightly bigger box than initially thought but only tells me there's bags of fun/work inside.I've not yet completed the model for these lights to be fixed to. Looking at all the lights, connecting wires and extra pieces, I think this will take longer than anticipated (Doesn't mean same applies to yourself). My other couple of Light Sets have been on the Lego Technic F1 models. The little packets are clearly marked with different lengths of wires, colours of lights etc. Would make an ideal gift for anybody you know who has lego or compatible model. I just can't wait to have these lights up and running. Hope to update this review upon completion

Very fiddly and not easy to install mainly due to the poor instructions which require a lot of guess work. After 6 or 7 hours of micro surgery I managed to get the light’s installed and nothing. Spent another 2 hours going through all the connections and found I had incorrectly inserted a couple of the extremely tiny plugs, something that’s very easy to do. After 2 weeks I tried to turn on the lights and nothing. They have stopped working completely. I changed the batteries, checked all the connections even though it’s just sat on a shelf since they last worked and not been moved.Another disappointment is the colour of the headlight leds. They should be white and indeed look white in the pictures but are in fact blue. Not very realistic looking.Tried to get a refund from Amazon but was told I had to return the faulty lights first. I’m not spending another 6 hours carefully removing the lights so as not to cause any further damage just to hopefully get a refund.Not recommend.

This is used on the infamous Lego Lamborghini Sian, & it lights up beautifully, giving the car ambiance beyond words.

A total pain in the rear end to install. The end result is ok but it’s really not worth the money or hassle to install. Building the car is enjoyable, this is not. You will also render the car ‘fragile’ with the numerous wires poking out all over the place. The instructions are almost impossible to follow, the YouTube video helped us out a lot.

A brilliant light kit. WARNING - you do need a CR2025 battery for the remote control or the kit won’t work - so order at the same time. My kit didn’t have one and I didn’t have any at home so had to wait for another 2 days to see it working.
