Excellent Thread Locker

I race nitro off road 1:8 scale and this stuff is great after you building you car and putting it back together with locktide. Never hurts to be safe with this high vibrating nitro buggies.

It will take heat to remove your nut or bolt if you apply this to the threads. I repaired two hose reels and used this to lock the swivel fittings where they screw into the o-rings and the frame . When you wind the hose or unwind, the fittigs don't come apart. Also works well on anything bolted down making it theft resistant . I have used 271 for years to stop unwanted looseing of nuts and bolts.

Most important, again, is that this is the original Loctite Threadlocker. Loctite changed their bottle with laser markings at the top of the bottle, which reads, "Loctite", with additional markings on the bottom (see Loctite's web site for details). The change was because there were too many fake China versions floating around. I was unsure when I ordered it, because the vendor has not updated the pictures to show the newest bottle design, but it did show the correct part number (again, see the manufacturer's web site for correct part numbers). Since it is the original, I would highly recommend the vendor update the picture on Amazon ASAP!

It’s high strength. I used it on applications I didn’t want to worry about. Wheel spacers, bolts that weren’t easily accessible. It takes quite some force to remove the nut after you put a couple drops on.

We use a fair amount of this in our assembly. 8 times the amount for 2.5 times the cost of the smaller tubes of Loctite. 2 year shelf life and 1 year open use .
