Does what it should

As a charger it works well. However the illustration would imply it comes with a USB connecting cable but it does not. Also the text says it is a Micro USB connection. This is untrue the connection on the charger is the larger standard USB A type. The connection at the other end of the non-supplied cable however could be a Micro USB or a USB C type depending on which device you are connecting to.

Good value for money

My original one had lasted.5 years so was a bit sceptical as quality important I did not want one that fell apart after a few uses. Well this is very good for my Galaxy A6 phone no probs advise. Be careful with it and it will last you

Pleased with it, exactly like the one included when i bought my Samsung tab. It's reasonably fast enough when charging. I would buy sgsinI think it's good to replace a tablet cable every now and then.

Bought the product twice. First time I bought it on February 2020, it lasted a few months and then the cable became really loose and it wouldn't charge my phone properly anymore. I then changed the wire and continued to use the charging plug but eventually the charging plug became faulty and stopped charging correctly just like the cable supplied with it. I then stupidly decided on November 2020 to buy the product again to give a second chance and I shouldn't have bothered, the cable only lasted a few weeks and then just stopped charging properly. I then contacted customer support because I was still within the return period and was told to dispose of the faulty lead and a new one would be sent out. Nearly two months on and no sign of a new lead and now the charging plug with that last faulty lead has begun getting extremely hot when charging and has stopped charging properly. I have had to dispose of the plug due to concern for safety (risk of fire) with the extreme heat. I definitely will not be making the same mistake and buying this product again, it isn't a genuine Samsung product (as I have compared both the previous bought products to genuine Samsung charging plugs and cables), I highly wouldn't recommend buying as I stupidly did twice, your money is best spent elsewhere and buying a genuine product even if it is more expensive as I am now going to do.

The charging cable didn't fit my Samsung phone it was a micro fit not a mini fit so I was left in the lurch and had to go buy another cable? The plug was exactly what I wanted as I use it for a couple of other items in the house. Would recommend if it does fit your phone?
