I've recently purchased this as a bit of an experiment. At this price I wasn't expecting it to hold the same weight as more industrial machines but the reality is that for smaller jobs it holds its own incredibly well. The machine is solidly build and has a good weight to it. Really easy to operate and makes precision welding easy.You've got a 6 phase adjustable current output as you would expect and this can hold an array if different rod sizes and thicknesses too so it really is a solid option as a simply but effective quick welding fix. Easy to get started. It comes with a safety visor and wire brush too and the case is actually a nice tidy piece of kit too.Overall, considering the price this is fantastic. For small jobs it's as goos as anything else i've used and far less hassle than most.I'm happy!

Power cable osnt very long but onve you get used to the tool you can get ok tacks bottom is about the same size of a cordless tool. So "HANDY" FOR AWKWARD AREAS.MASK IS CRAP SHOULD COME WITH A FEW STICKS TO GET USED TO IT. IT TAKES A GOOD BIT OF PRACTICE FOR NEWBIEES.

A great portable diy stick welder in a briefcase. It does the job for the quick weld repair and fix jobs and it would be fine for small projects in my opinion. Saves you getting all the larger kit out for a small job.

Arrived on due date. Very quick service. Nicely protected in a case. Welder nice to look at and not too big to be uncomfortable. This is a Xmas gift so cannot comment on how it performs.
