Q: Where can I get a longer power cord or how can I run power to the speakers in a location without an outlet near?

buy some electrical wiring, and make it yourself. easy peasy. I had to extend mine about 20 feet. I cut off the power cord, took it to the hardware store, matched the wire gauge, purchased AC splice device, made the splice, used heat shrink on each wire junction, then larger heat shrink for the completed splices, then coated with silicon, and wrapped in GOOD quality electricians tape. HINT, You can not buy GOOD quality electricians tape at the wally world or the dollar general. If you ain't gonna make the time and effort to do it well, just stop and don't do it at all. BUT, it can be done. GOOD LUCK

Q: What do i need to purchase to use the bluetooth? not sure what "bluetooth compatible" means. i don't see any bluetooth switch.

If you have a phone, tablet, or MP3 player with Bluetooth, you can connect your device to the Pyle speakers. After you plug the Pyle speakers with the AC power cord, the device will give you a Bluetooth “chime” indicating that it is ready for paring. Then on you device settings you should find Pyle Audio. The first time you set up your speakers it will ask for a four digit code. That code is in your printed instructions. Enter the code on your device and viola you are connect to the speakers. You can then use any music streaming service or music that is downloaded on your device to play over the Pyle speakers.

If you are using Bluetooth then you control the volume with the device. If you are using a tv Bluetooth there is a setting on your tv under Bluetooth device where you can control it the bad news is that will be a one time adjustment meaning you will have to do the same in order to adjust it again. I have mine in my salon and run pandora off my laptop. Volume is adjusted from laptop and is VERY loud. When I use my phone volume only goes to a certain volume, not that loud. Try from a different device.

Good sound quality, volume, and Bluetooth range.

I mounted these on our 40' back porch. I wanted to cover the entire porch and pool area with sound and these accomplish that task very well. They are plenty loud and offer some bass response. The most impressive thing is the Bluetooth connection is strong up to about 50' without direct line of sight and even further with. I'm pleased with the value and performance.

Decent Outdoor Speakers

These are decent outdoor speakers for the price. They look good and very easy to install. I really liked the small sized power adapter that can neatly fit in the 2gang outdoor electrical box in use cover. The sound quality is not bad but wish the bass was stronger. Great bluetooth connectivity. The other thing that could be improved is the speaker wires, which are small gauge and flimsy. I used a 14 gauge outdoor rated speaker wires instead of the wires provided. Hopefully the speakers will last me a couple of years.

Decent but to be expected.

They are decent speakers for the money. A little disappointing in audio quality for the price I expected a little better. The Bluetooth works ok but not great. It looses connection with my phone when the phone is 5 feet away inside the house. If it’s line of sight then it’s about 75 feet. The most annoying part is that the Bluetooth speakers will randomly connect to my phone and it will start playing music unless the power switch is shut off. If you mount these high enough that you can’t unplug or shut off the power you will hate life.Update: 3 months later and they are completely dead. Won’t power on or work at all. Customer support is horrible.

Movie night speaker

Pyle Wall Mount Bluetooth Home Speaker System - Active + Passive Pair, are okay speakers considering I purchased returned item for discounted price and they fill a medium sized outside space with sound. Sound is slightly and expectedly tinny.The blue tooth connectivity is great.There is an aux port which will use tether projector or computer when displaying outside movies.These speakers will be used for outside movies, mostly.I am happy with them and at a good price.

Nice quality speakers

Overall sound quality is perfect for our pool area. Easy install and connects quickly to Bluetooth.I an giving this a 3 star because the short speaker wire caused me to need an additional purchase. I have seen similar lcomments and would give a five if you doubled the wire length. Just charge a couple bucks more!
