Yes, bull glass, nice weight. The only plastic??? None that I know of, the only area where there might be is thestopper... however, upon looking at it and feeling it, maybe not... it is a very nice, wine decanter. Hope this helps

what are the measuements?

43 oz - 127 cl h 12 1/4" - 308 mm diameter 5 1/4" - 134 mm

It's watertight, but never checked to see about air tightness. I like the size of the decanter, and the price was good.

What is the diameter of the base of the decanter? How steady is this bottle? it looks like it can roll over and fall over easily.

I do not have the actual measurements of the diameter of the base, but the decanter is stable with enough heft without being heavy to be harder to tip over than a bottle of wine.
