So you are wondering on 3 stars overall when I rate value, use and weight 5 stars???? Simple, the tool came bowed or as I say slightly curved but not bent as in a crease. While I did straighten it as best I could by applying light pressure on a wooden bench, it will not totally flatten. However, it really did not and does not affect the quick measurement if your chain has lots of miles left. It could however give you a false reading of prematurely changing out a chain if you are a stickler for changing out at .75 wear.But overall, it works and really is just an eyeball indicator tool.Not sure it came that way from the manufacturing process or from transport???? I suspect hit and miss from the factory however.

Make sure you buy one that has 0.5 for an 11-speed roadbike

I'm glad it's small, simple to use, and seems pretty durable, but mine came with a very slight bend to the whole thing. A better packaging solution for shipping it would have saved it, since it just came in a padded envelope. It still works, but I'd be happier knowing it's precise.

Cant beat the price compared to park tools. A cheap investment to prevent you from wearing out your bike drive train. Just note this checker goes to .75 and you should check with the manufacturer if you require chain replacement at .50!!!! Cheap bike insurance and a chain is cheaper than a drivetrain replacement.

This tool is very well priced. Does the job well and helps you save your drive train by knowing when your chain needs replacing before it affects your chain rings and cassette.

The product looks cheap and disappointing that there is no instructions. Not confident that the chain checker is accurate. Would not recommend.

The tool arrives with a slight curve and is not true. For a measurement tool, it should be perfectly straight
