When I got it I had a courtesy car a Suberu and it took a little while to connect but in my Vauxhall Grandland it connects quickly.Once connected you wouldn't know any differenceWhen setting up Ignore the instructions about connecting to its WiFi with a password and it deals with that through Bluetooth, I spent ages trying the password in the manual and it would work, so I told my phone to forget the network and it connected.Overall impressd just make sure you phone has a decent amount of battery as it now doesn't get charged from car.

Took delivery off this superb device today as we have android auto in our vehicles didn't fancy wires constantly plugged into phones all time while travelling and this device does exactly what it says wireless connection and easy to install just follow the manual supplied connected in seconds once plugged into USB port and very impressed have to say nice to have android auto (through Google) on the screen of car and u can also update it as well just follow the instructions in manual no lag either from phone or device a must by for android auto owners who want wireless connection 5 star product ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's great no to have to faff about with cables. Just get into the car and the phone connects without any interaction needed. Two small things, phone must have 5ghz wifi, this is not mentioned in the product description as far as I can see. Also, the right-angled adaptor is a good idea but won't fit every car due to USB port location.Should have got one of these years ago.Update: has stopped working after a couple of weeks. Item got very hot so unplugged. Next day wouldn't auto reconnect wifi as usual. Tried to manually connect but it asked for password. No password in manual, got password off Internet. Got wifi connected but car does not detect android auto. Seller was prompt to reply and courteous but was all platitude and no substance. Returned.

Works in my honda civic 2020 just plug and play.

Mostly doesn't pair on the 1st attempt but nearly always does on the 2nd and I think 2 times in a hundred has needed the dongle to be removed and re-pluged to work but I can't say if the fault is with the dongle or phone. It sounds like I am not happy but in fact I am rather happy with this item, and 2 attemps at pairing is ok, it means I can connect to Google maps or anything on my phone in under 20 seconds while the phone is still in my pocket a significant improvement on trying to get the phone out of my pocket and plugging into a USB port which cannot be safely done on the move. So in short this has been a great bit of kit for me and wouldn't be without it. But it would be better if it paired up 1st time.

I have finally found a wireless adapter, this is the third brand I've tried, that does what it is supposed to. This provides the same experience as a wired connection, easy connection every time and no lagging audio.The only time it hasn't connected was because I didn't have WiFi active on my phone otherwise it has been seamless. It might take a few seconds to get connected and the dust few seconds of music might have a little jolt but once it is running I have had no issues at all.Other adapters I have tried have sounded like a scratched record with sound jumping regularly or just not connecting to the phone and having to be endlessly rebooted.It is also really convenient as a stick rather than a pod on a wire.

I purchased this for my new car which had gone all up market and had android auto but not posh enough for the wireless version.....until I purchased this!! What a game changer. Easy to set up and now just left plugged into the usb slot the phone connects automatically within seconds and has my android auto connection in hand!! Wire free!!!It's a solid connection too, I've had it for well over a month now and it's never dropped the connection, really stable and I purchased the Apple carplay version from the same company for my son which is also perfect.

Given all good reviews thought would try this in Kia Niro using a Huawei p 30 pro.Install very easy.Sadly after that it went downhill. Simply could not hold a connection. Waze dropped out after about a minute, with connection lost message, only way to get it back was pull out & back in. It just continued to do the same, no matter what was tried. Phone less than a foot from device.Returning for refund :(Seller contacted me via Amazon with idea's to try, as item already returned unable to do so. But contact was prompt & very helpful. So upped to 3 stars on basis of helpful contact.
