and I’m honestly so surprised at how good it is
I’ve played on this for 2 days so far(I got this the day it came out, however I didn’t play it for the first couple days, which I’m seeing people had connecting problems with it then? For me there hasn’t been much issues, I have had to wait a few mins for a match but that’s about the most) , and I’m honestly so surprised at how good it is! Since Black Ops 3, COD has gone extremely down hill. I didn’t actually think they would even be able to try to get back up again. This new game they brought out is super interesting & cool. I’ve played on the Zombies twice, it is really good. At the moment it’s quite confusing finding my way around the map and how to work everything but, I’m loving it. Multiplayer I’ve played the most , but again only a few games. But, I’m loving the new different types of games you can play. I love how it has a HQ, you can now buy lots of cool stuff with your earned tokens, get new orders and challenges to complete and the package drops with suprise stuff you get. I love playing this game to work towards getting cool, rare stuff. Really happy with the game.P.S I got the codes that where sent to me in an email however, for the guide and multiplayer thing, the codes did not work? I may have done it wrong? But, not sure. Just kept saying error or something. The only thing that worked was the zombie camo.

Good and war mode
First thing I want to say is the codes you get , are not for the PlayStation store , only the one in the game case is.So people are saying they don't work are not reading Amazon's email on what to do.The guide is digital and it should say that in the description but the guide don't tell you much anyway. The Game is good and I'm enjoying call of duty again after years of waiting and what I'm enjoying the most is the War mode.I love the beach assault and shooting down to stop them. The 1v1 is good also.Zombies is more darker and scarier , no more building windows up :)Campaign is good and the graphics are good.Good price for all the game modes you can play. You do need a internet connection to start the download patch but they did that to stop spoliers.Enjoy

A return to form for the series
A return to form for Call Of Duty. After all the previous futuristic stuff that has come recently in the series, this is a great return to the old call of duty. I cannot believe for the life of me the amount of bad reviews this game is getting because of the supposedly "free game guide and free gun".......oh come on people, it was always clearly stated in the description that this content was digital. They was never gonna give you a retail version of the game guide as these are quite expensive and as for the free gun......that made me laugh!!. There is a few teething problems with game as there is with most new release games these days.......im quite sure the problems with connectivity will be addressed very soon. Its a fantastic looking game which will only get better over the coming weeks. Just stop reviewing Amazon in the game review section. A code that doesn't work is no fault of amazons. They get given the codes by activision so any faults or problems have to be addressed by them. The multiplayer code does not work for me either but to be honest, the double XP only lasts for the first 4 hours of playing the game so its really not a big deal and to be fair, it was never advertised as being free with the Amazon version of the game anyway. A lot of unfair reviews which basically are not game reviews at all. Just read and understand what you are buying before you purchase the game.

A mixed bag, enjoyable but not perfect
After the last few call of duty flops, latest being advanced warfare, and with the success of Dice's Battlefield 1 and return to roots, we now have call of duty WWII hoping to make a return to form in the same fashion.Campaign: 8/10Not the strongest of campaigns in the franchise in terms of drawing the player in, and it is the same formula as previous games (minus following 1 character) The characters and storyline feel like something is missing, it feels more cheesy than tragic at times, but at the same time it's a decent effort when compared to last games and overall more rewarding to play through. There's also no health regen, you must find health packs or ask a soldier to throw one to you.Multiplayer: 7/10Multiplayer is a hard one to put a finger to, there's a new (if not quickly slapped together) virtual hub for players to open rewarded care packages for collection cards, buy new contracts or collection items, get orders to complete for rewards, a theatre mode, shooting range and one of two other little things with character emotes thrown in (plus it's in 3rd person as your customized character). It does add a little more to it than just screens which is nice, you can see other players of they're in the headquarters hub in a lobby between matches (access via options bottom while in lobby). There is also a slightly more in depth or deliberately layered few features. Classes are now divisions (apparently each one from a different country, sniper is Canadian forces, heavy weapons British, assault American, sub machine gunner is u.s paratrooper, shotgun French resistance. It's done in a bit of a strange way, it all has no bearing on your character or progress really. And throw in the various outfits you can unlock (Soviet assault uniform for instance) then suddenly things become confusing and disjointed, realism not on the mind here. If you're the axis/German army opposed to allies in a team game then you just have grey standard nazi uniforms it seems. The gameplay is good, not perfect but it's good. The scorestreaks are ok, nothing special (no dogs like cod waw) but that fit in well with the theme. There's a decent choice of weapons to customize and edit, not as many as Battlefield 1 but there are also an unlockable special variant to get, through similar means as cod modern warfare remastered (unlock everything in a group to get the special weapon or outfit). The pace of the game is relatively quick, a lot of the time you'll aim at someone fire 5-6 bullets (if a fast weapon) but will die first which can be irksome, though this is a staple of cod games. Or shoot just beside someone and kill them. There's a War game mode, a take on Battlefields operations game mode. It's decent, objective based gameplay, doesn't feel as big as BF1 but that can be forgiven due to different size of the game (maps & player count) it's pretty fun and a good way to level up. The maps themself, not a lot stand out, some have frustrating designs. But USS Texas is a gooden, reminiscent of Yacht in Black ops 2. Or Gibralter has a feel similar to more futuristic cod games (old mountainous coastal level given way to nature and greenery) then there are the long ranged open maps like gustav cannon. The servers are okayish, frequently being updated as just released, sometimes collecting your pay roll or armory credits don't work or other connection issues but this can be forgiven for now. There were painful waiting times between matches but this seems to have been fixed now, from 10 min+ intermissions to 1 mins. The game does also have blood adding to realism, though toned down for multiplayer (single player a man's head at the start is clean blown off, but no jibbing in multiplayer) silly being the games 18+ but guess many young teenagers play call of duty.A bad point for multiplayer is the final kill cam has been ruined, instead it shows the player in the round who got a chain kill, which was a bad move on the developers part (it could even show the losing team)What's lots the 3 top players doesn't correlate with the top 3 players by score in the list at the side..Nazi zombies: 9/10This mode was enjoyable and seemed to be done well, it's objective based and there's a number of objectives to complete, like activating power, finding pieces etc that help progress forward. Along with it perk machines scattered about, weapons on the walls to buy, a boss and many easter eggs (no random loot box I don't think) Also a bigger roster of characters.Overall 7/10, a good effort but not mind blowing. You just feel a little bit more polishing or care could've been taken to wow people, maybe more consistency in a few places, and not buggering up the final kill cam which has been a mainstay of cod games. But still manages to be fun at times, hopefully a first step in the right direction for call of duty.
