This is a useful map because of the material it’s made of. Easy to fold and re-fold and rain/water resistant.

This map is awesome!!! It is waterproof to start, which makes it innately more difficult to tear than a normal paper map. We took this map when my boyfriend and I traveled to the Redwoods and it was incredibly helpful, and fun to look at! We have it hanging on our wall currently & I highly recommend it even if you aren't travelling immediately. I am obsessed with the redwood forests so I probably would have bought it anyway even though I recently moved further away. Get this map! You won't regret it. Thanks Nat Geo, you're a star.

Fantastic, very detailed map. Already using it for trip planning for the Redwoods, and will be great to have there, where cell service can be spotty. No problem reading it with reading glasses (like everything else for me).

This is an easy to read map with adequate detail to navigate the trails in the area. The paper is durable and waterproof.
