2 or 3 people can play. When a 4th wants to join, just play a tournament.

Can a 8 year old girl play it? Or is it to simple for that age?

Yes, it’s perfect for that age. The premise of the game is simple, but the players quick responses as the game speeds up is where the fun lies. I lose to my 8 y o granddaughter 99% of the time.
