Q: What is the weight capacity of a single bracket?

Easily fifty pounds. I’ve got more than that on a pair of brackets.

Q: I ordered these a few weeks ago and one broke while being installed. Can I purchase just one bracket?

I dont know about that, you would probably have to contact the company and ask them . Or send both back and order a new set. I have 3 sets and all are whole . No problems
