is it real wood or partical board?

The description states "MDF" (medium density fiberboard) which is not much more than compressed paper. It is then covered with what I would guess to be a "thermofoil" material such as a vinyl with a wood grain pattern and perhaps an imprinted "wood grain". It is made to look like real wood and with today's technology, it is quite good at achieving that. Real wood cabinetry at this price point is not possible, even with some cheap Asian specie.
