Galco Gunleather SB3 Dress Belt, Gun Belt

This is my second identical belt. I have this same one in Brown that I purchased 9 months prior.-For a Dress/work belt, it scores high. Very nice smooth leather, and clean professional nickel buckle.-It does begin to get a bend/fold crease where you buckle it, but I guess all leather does.It is decently rigid, but does exhibit some sag with a heavy gun. I have several Galco holsters for my 1911 as well as several IWB holsters for my more compact carry guns. This belt works great as an IWB holster belt, but possibly lacks a touch on rigidity if you are going to use it for outside waste band holster models, or larger/heavy guns like a 1911.As many other reviewers mention, this belt needs to be ordered two sizes larger.I have a 41" waist.I ordered my Brown Galco belt in a 46", and it was perfectThe black one I mistakenly ordered in 44", and I am on the second to last hole.-The other issue that makes it seem short, is that there is very little tongue left after the last hole, so even if you are midway in the holes, there is very little belt coming out of the buckle, and it usually doesn't want to reach the first belt loop of most pants.If Galco can read for customer input, Make the end of the belt around 2-3" longer!- then it would be perfect.

I carry inside the waistband so I absolutely recommend buying up a size. I wear a 34 of not carrying, a 36 when carrying, and I needed a 38" (bought a 36 but exchanged for a 38). It's a very good looking belt, goes great with my suit or with jeans. I can't speak to longevity as I only wear dress on the weekends, so this is not my fault belt, but seems like it will hold up okay. If I had a recommendation for the company, I might like the belt to have a more rigid core for holding more weight (based on feel, I think it's 100% leather with no core), but rigid enough to hold a mid size handgun with no issue (my ccw is a glock 19, which works fine).

This 1.5" wide dress gun carry belt looks good, and is a lot more sturdy than any department store belts you might buy. It is fully supportive of fairly heavy belted items, if you tighten it up enough. I use it to carry my SIG Sauer P229 both IWB and OWB, and I've also used it to carry my P226 MK25 with mounted weapon light. It fits all of my standard pants belt loops for jeans and cargo pants / shorts, and most of my dress pants. Overall I like it. I would have preferred a brushed belt buckle finish rather than the polished nickel (chrome) buckle this came with. It comes with only five belt holes spaced about an inch apart.In contrast, my other leather dress gun carry belts (from TheBeltman.net) have seven belt holes space about 3/4" apart, making them more adjustable. The Beltman's product is of much better quality and durability than this Galco belt, and Beltman offers a lot more variety as well, for about the same money (for some models) to somewhat more money (for more exotic models).Both this Galco product, and TheBeltman.net products, are made right here in the USA.Overall, I give this Galco belt 3.5 out of 5 stars. IMHO, its not a bad purchase.

Excellent quality, well made belt. Nice and stiff for the holster. I like that the leather wraps around the buckle and is secured by large rivets.The belt is not as long as it should be. I wear 36” pants and ordered the 40” belt and am still only on the second hole in. I should have ordered the 42 or 44”.

So just want to make sure you get bigger size. I am size 38 and had to order size 44. Size 42 would work if you not using the belt for IWB, if you don't know what that is, you can get size 42. I will be using it for IWB and need that extra length. So far belt looks great.

While initially pricey, Galco belts offer high quality and durability with beautiful leather, quality construction, and (and exchangeable) bucklesI've have had another Galco belt for 15 + years and have never regretted my initial investment. While it's wear shows, it continues to perform as intended.

This is a exllent in between belt. It is sturdy solid but just right for a lighter guy like myself. Not to thick, just tick enough. I can add holes in the belt if needed. I cannot put them back in. It holds every holster i have like a champ. I can rock it like cary grant running from villains from aorplanes, trains then jumping off lincolns nose like no other. Bombing down mount Rushmore like no one ever would know. That is tbe kinda thinf6this belt does.

Einer meiner teuersten Gürtel, aber er ist das Geld wert. Die Qualität merkt man auf den ersten Blick und Griff. Sehr stabil und deutlich steifer als normale Gürtel. Aber nicht ZU steif, man kann ihn gut tragen. Perfekter Style auch zu eleganteren Hosen. Bisher ausprobiert mit Glock 17 und USP Tactical, der Gürtel hält was der Hersteller verspricht. Ein Teil fürs Leben!
