Interesting right away
This book starts off a little weird for about one page and I wasn't sure if I liked the author's personality or not, but it quickly became just an interesting book. It starts off with a brief history lesson and I found myself enjoying it rather than thinking "come on, get to the point!" as I usually do with any sort of topical non-fiction book that seems to be wasting my time with filler. This isn't filler. This guy just has something to say. The honesty comes through and it's a pleasure to read something from a guy who obviously just wants to share his knowledge. The Kindle version of these books are dirt cheap and they are apparently good sellers, but he's not raising the price now that he's got some recognition. This is the only book of his I've bought so far and I'm glad I started out with this one because he states early on that anxiety is the one problem that must be overcome to have successful hypnosis. This is a subject I am very interested to see analyzed in detail, so I didn't mind the brief romp through history to start it all off. In fact, it was really interesting. I've definitely thought it would suck to live in the past and I've definitely thought along conspiratorial lines before, but he presents it with a clarity of vision that makes it pretty easy to see for oneself without vaguely pondering about what it must have been like to live at different times in the past. It must have sucked, quite frankly.Just reading that made me feel better about my situation in present day. I'm looking forward to finishing this book up in record time.I wish I knew who this guy was because I'd book an appointment and get a plane ticket. He instantly strikes me as the real deal and would be worth the money rather than experimenting with a bunch of local hypnotists and hoping I get a good one. I wish this guy would put out mp3s...specifically about eradicating anxiety.

Best Book Yet
This has been one of my favorites, i'm to the point where I am like how do you do, such and such then Search the books and find the exact issue i'm more curious about.I like this book because RH shows that Anxiety can be tied into a lot of problems. I agree. Like the 1st review i think you need some other platform of teaching however, i find that going to trainings in person are the most helpful and have a whole summer lined up to put my hypnosis knowledge into practice. I would be curious to see if you the Infamous RH were to put together a training, what it would be like. Anyways I am sure many people review your books and want to come study from you. Hell you have a 100% success rate, I want to have that level of skill also. I assume the best way to do that is to model you, just like Bandler went to old man Milton's house and sat in his purple room to learn his method of madness.I would be happy to come out and learn from you first hand. Anyways I get the feeling that that isn't your bag yet it doesn't hurt to throw out there. I'm not sure how many people get this deep into reading your information, however for 1 buck a book, I read them and will probably use them as reference for years.Anyways I for see you don't have too many left to pull out, i'm thinking how about like a simplified, like application book, like how you like run through from beginning to end and working with somebody in like a shorter more flow sheep no brainer different style visual aid. That would be really easy to kind of come up with a stream line way to know how to cater the approach to a person's problem matrix.

Helpful info and lots of scripts - Recommended
Another interesting, useful book in the RH collection. Like many of you, I bought it because anxiety is an issue for me. RH explains many reasons for anxiety, helping me understand the origins of mine. And the reason this book is so long? Lots of scripts! Just reading the scripts while fully awake has helped by giving me thoughts to counteract the negative ones when they pop into my head. The more I read it, the better I feel. Thank you, RH!

Invaluable Info for Hypnotists but what about....
I read all of these books back to back, having just completed my hypnotist certificate training. I will most definitely use these scripts to help my clients and I will have extra confidence because of this info. The scripts are amazing, the explanations of concepts are easy to understand, and I totally agree that the root cause of most "mental illness" is not getting needs met! Will you be writing anything on domestic violence, or anger release, or low self esteem in people who let others beat them? This is something that plagues the entire planet, and since you are saving the world, can you write something on this? Thank you so much RH!!!!

A CLINICAL thumbs Up!
I love this author! As a clinical psychologist, and hypnotherapist, I love how he just gives you TOOLS (some great theory! But I like tools!), and ones that work! I've used his books (I have them all) for several years... My client turn over is positive and word of mouth spreads. I would advise using them best with in-person training, as recommends the author, because some things need to be experienced to be learned. Thank you! Love this work

I learned a lot from this
Well even if you're not really an hypnotist, read this not to be gullible and labelled as psychotic and then poisoned by some professional psychocide. It could happen to anybody.

Very informative
The author goes over and above what you would expect . He is very clear and concise in explaining what hypnosis is truly about, and gives extremely detailed inductions. I highly recommend his books!

Read also William J. Walsh's "Nutrient Power"...
"Nutrient Power" identifies an epigenetic error that creates anxiety ( overmethylated-DNA ) as 1 of its effects,as well as an epigenetic error that creates stress ( undermethylated-DNA ) as 1 of its effects...I have treated undermethylation ( with SAM-e, enteric-coated, taken with clear water, on an empty stomach, nothing other than water for the next 40 minutes, for months )& experienced ZERO stress as a result!IF Walsh was right about both the Pyrrole/zinc disorder AND the undermethylation disorder, as my experience proved,THEN he was rather certainly right about overmethylated people finding reduced anxiety & increased libido with folate & niacinimide!( William J. Walsh is a medical researcher with 30 000 patients in his research database )Biochemistry can be the cause of anxiety, & hypnosis directly-corrects psychosomatic conditions...So therefore there is slight mismatch between the treatment & the cause, in the case of treating overmethylated-DNA caused anxiety with hypnosis, imnsho.I am a hard-line old-testament Vajrayana buddhist,so I consider a soul's being imprisonned in recurring reincarnation to be psychosomatic, but am working from a 3 minds perspective:( surfacemind/miragemind, which decides nothingLifeMind, which hypnosis & Andrew Holecek's "Dream Yoga" engage, that owns/rules one's life, &soul/eternally-abiding-mind/1-of-Elohim/child-of-Allgod, that underlies every single life that there is. )Never presume SurfaceMind controls one's life when LifeMind wants something else( addiction is owned by LifeMind, so surfacemind doesn't affect it, e.g. )I generally give 5 stars to this Teh(sic q : ) Rogue Hypnotist's work, but missing that some anxiety is biochemically-caused, & needs biochemical treatment as part of its correction( notice I DIDN'T say "needs drugging to suppress symptoms",which is what psychiatry has proven too devout to doing:psychiatry ignores Walsh's evidence-based medicine, preferring its establishment to our very lives!& it does so WHILE CLAIMING to be "evidence based medicine", which is damned obscene )So, PLEASE READ BOTH BOOKS & liberate your healing YOUR right way!Salut, Namaste, & Kaizen!( :

Still funny
Rogue likes to 'go on' a little at times. I like that he/she is well researched about language but I am not really interested in all the roots of words. The parts I like the most are the stories from practice.

He did it again
This latest book is another example of why this series is so popular. All the material presented is based on solid science spurred by year's of experience the life of a commited people-person. This would get a 5 star but for its rather awkward presentation of scripts, which makes for some difficult cross-referencing as you work to mild and modify to your specific client needs.

Some great ideas but...
Never heard of the Rogue Hypnotist before. This is the first book I’ve bought from his collection. Quite a lengthy book at over 700 pages. Here are the positives - the book contains lots of scripts for various mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, poor sleep and GAD. However, many of the scripts are way to long to use. There are loads of spelling mistakes and grammar errors throughout the book. First half of the book focuses on expanding your knowledge and awareness of anxiety issues but I found it generalising about people’s problems and not backed by any proper research. Anxiety is a complex issue and caused not just by one factor but often a multitude of issues. The book could be half the size of the author cut down the size of the scripts and less waffle. Also, the size of the book could be bigger making it a bit easier to read as the book size itself is quite small like a bible!
