Can this glass paint set be washed easily by water?

We thank the customer for the question. Water durability is of key importance for all the glass paint products. Prior to launching this product, we have performed numerous standard tests, including water durability tests. The results show, our glass paint can retain on the surface of the objects even after more than 1000 cycles of washing under flow rate of 50 mL/sec. There are many causes, chemically or mechanically, contributing to the good adhesion. We do believe, based on our research, it is mainly due to the strong chemical bonds forming at the interface between the glass paint film when wet and hydroxyl groups on the glass or ceramic surface. Therefore we are confident that, after these bonds forming, our glass paint can be long-lasting or even permanent on the hydroxyl group-rich surfaces like glass, windows, china, ceramics, enamel. It is worthy to note that with the formula developed by our dedicated R&D team, it is safe and does not require a baking process to cure the wet paint like most glass paints in the market. Just keep the wet film dry at room temperature for a certain period and then it will stay well.

Is this waterproof? I’m using it to paint shells for a mermaid swimsuit.

Wonderful to work with! It is if you let set for 7 days and set naturally or bake in low heat oven. Not sure if the degrees or time...

You paint on the OUTSIDE OF THE CONTAINER - the food does not come in contact with the paint. However, to seal the paint, it must be baked at a high enough heat to sterilize the glass. Unless you a planning to do something wonkie, I don't think you have a problem.
