A good upgrade, but annoying bug
So my friends have finally got annoyed at hearing my loud keyboard while gaming, and decided that I had to get a new microphone that didn’t pick up my lovely clacks.I decided on this one as it looked like it had exactly the pickup pattern I was looking for (Dynamic Cardioid), for a good price. It has both USB C and XLR slots, but I opted for the USB C connection. It screwed right onto my existing arm, worked out of the gate. Windows identified it instantly and downloaded all the drivers I needed. It sits about a fist length from my mouth, and 3 from my keyboard. It still kind of picks up my keyboard, but it’s very loud so that’s to be expected, and it’s only faint.I’ve noticed that whenever I restart my computer, the gain seems to reset to minimum. While not a dealbreaker it is rather annoying. Luckily it has volume buttons on the top so it’s a quick fix - enough to knock 1 star off.Overall, very good for the price. It’s no SM7B, but it gets the job done.

Decent but Not Outstanding
The TONOR USB/XLR Microphone is a decent option for basic recording needs. It performs adequately for podcasting, gaming, and voice-overs, with reasonable noise rejection. However, the sound quality is medium at best and doesn't stand out for professional use. It’s a good budget choice but don’t expect top-tier performance.
