Fantastic product, works like a charm! Easy to use and lasts a long time!
I bought a pack of these just under a year ago, and one of the humidipaks is only starting to solidify now - so I find that super impressive! This is well over the three months' time frame stated in the write-up, so I'm surprised by some of the comments that these packs haven't lasted. I suppose it depends on where you live, the humidity/dryness levels, the type of guitar and case, and so on. I have a Taylor acoustic guitar and Taylor hard case. The system is simple and avoids the hazard of having to put water inside the case - which I really think is asking for trouble. Just put one under the stockhead and the other over the strings, close the case and it works its magic. I initially bought mine because my wife and I use a wood-burning fireplace in our home during winter months and it dries the air out like crazy. I don't know what your results will be but I highly recommend this product based on my experience. I've just ordered refills, hence my write up now. I also think this is especially useful for any beginners/improvers who won't know how to maintain their guitar using other methods.

Reliable way to keep valuable guitars at correct humidity
A reliable way to keep a guitar within a safe humidity range. In the UK we are usually OK, but during a cold dry spell with heating on I found my house was down to 30% RH which could cause shrinkage and cracks the guitar’s soundboard and back. The system uses sealed pouches that absorb or give out water vapour to keep the inside of the guitar case at about 50% RH. You need a guitar case that is impermeable - moulded plastic or vinyl covered. The pouches last a few weeks depending upon how often you open the case and how much your room deviates from 50% RH. For most of us these are a very good product, but if you need to replace the pouches often it will become expensive.

Great Humidity Control System
Excellent idea. The guitar now stays in tune in it's hardcase and the tone has improved dramatically. Barely needs a tuning tweek from one week to the next - partly due to the setup but largely thanks to this device. Have been using it for some months now and no sign of drying out. May be different if kept in a soft case i guess.Only reservation is that the thin cloth container of the sound hole humidity pack is getting a bit dog-eared and is now catching a bit on the strings. Rectified if hung over all 6 strings instead of over strings 3 and 4 as instructed. A minor issue. Well worth the money if you've invested in your pride and joy. Will definitely get another in due course.

Does what it says
Does the job but is not as good as a cheap car dehumidifier from any supermarket. I have a humidifier reading device built in to my Taylor and this only brings the humidity down to 58 or 59. My guitar lives in a hard case. The cheap car dehumidifier brings it down to 48 ish

Just what I needed
With the weather in the UK being what it is. It’s hard to get a consistent humidity in my flat. It hovers around 45-60%. So this kit is perfect for my acoustic guitar which I leave in my Hiscox hard case. It allows my guitar case to be humidity regulated much better than my flat and gives me peace of mind that my guitar is nice and safe.

tip top
I began to realise my Ramirez classical guitar was in trouble when I noticed bulges above the bracing and a dip behind the sound hole, I didn't realise the poor thing must have been dried out. I bought the humidipak and put them in the case as per instructions (one at the headstock and two inside the body in the bags provided) and have noticed within three days that the bulges are diminished, the dip behind the sound hole has gone, and my living room now smells of rosewood! - I'd forgotten how nice these guitars smell when they are kept properly. The guitar now sounds better and I feel proud to own it again after spending a little money on storing it. I think it's not a big price to pay a couple times a year to keep an expensive guitar in good condition, so well recommended.

Not strong enough, the Humidity hovers at around +70% / When room is around 60-80%
I am actually worried these might be adding humidity when they are supposed to remove and control it.Before I started using them the case would remain at around 65%It says in the description that they will keep the humidity within the safe rate of 45-55% (they don't, it has only risen since I started to use them)I also only remove the guitar from its case when the humidity in the room is 60-65%I don't really understand how something can both add and take away moisture knowingly at any decent level in the firstplace. If anyone has some advice for me that would be great, all the information I find online is about adding more moisture, not taking it away.

Works well, when it lasts
I really like this system and it's simple to use, no having to do water, sponges and avoid the hazards of water and wood meeting. This is nice, just put it in the case and put the other over the D and G strings, close the case and it'll work it's magic. However after a few weeks less than a month the single pack in the case started to solidify and tried to mix it up to get it too work. They last around 2 months, not the 3 months advertised, and they're costly to replace so it's a bit hard to like it in one way, so of the costs replacement sachets it loses a star. I would recommend it fully though!
