do these support otg devices?

No. These have no OTG support. I purchased them due to purported OTG support, which they DO NOT have.

When I plug it into a usbc and then plug it into my phone it doesn’t work. What am I doing wrong?

You are going to have to be more specific if you want a useful answer. What phone? What are you plugging it in to? What brand of cable?

Is this compatible with the iPhone 12 Pro?

This adapter works good on my iPhone 12 Pro. I used a USB-C cable with the adapter. ALL GOOD!!
