I adore this axe, arrives well packaged and sharp. It holds its sharpness well, handle feels great and of good quality. The metal doesn't seem cheap and has a decent weight to it. The handle length is perfect for more careful woodworking, however if I needed to split logs I'd go for a longer handled axe.

Bought as a budget bushcraft axe and it's definitely good value. Nice sturdy handle and weighty head. Will need some work to sharpen the edge to an appropriate level but expected that. Will also sand the handle to remove the garish logo. Cover for the head is cheap but it does the job. Yet another terrible logo though that I'll need to eliminate or replace. Overall very pleased with this axe.

I read quite a few reviews before buying this and must admit I took a bit of a punt as there are quite a few negative reviews complaining that this axe is blunt.For the money, it is a well made axe! I admit it’s not the sharpest out of the box but once I took a stone to it (10 mins of sharpening) it’s now sharper than a witches tit and is perfect for chopping small branches, kindling etc.Let’s not forget this is a cheap axe compared to many out there and great quality for the price.

Excellent feel to it, not too heavy or light. Reading other reviews I was expecting it to be blunt but it was relatively sharp. Was out within ten mins chopping tree roots, through them no problem. Seem like good value for money
