Security and Loss Prevention professional approved
I work as a loss prevention and security specialist as my day job and occasionally do event security as a side job in the evenings, so I'm always using my gear and putting it through the ringer. That being said, I am quite pleasantly surprised at the quality I've gotten for the price I paid.My other Fairwin belts have held up remarkably well in the years of daily use and wear I've put them through, so I'd say I've definitely gotten more than my money's worth out them thus far. I've bought some of these to supplement my current belts, a two ply model which unfortunately seems to have been discontinued, but these have been adequate enough for my needs with them. However, a caveat I will point out with these belts is that I personally wouldn't trust them to hold up a duty sidearm and holster on their own. It's a single ply design and I could see it holding up something very lightweight and concealable like a .38 revolver or a .380 auto, but probably not a fully loaded Glock 17 or other similarly sized duty handgun, so I would personally want to use suspenders or a true duty belt if I wanted something for those purposes. But it's a comfortable, reasonably strong design that works for my purposes in unarmed roles, so if you're just looking for an inexpensive product that will hold up to daily use, I recommend these belts, but if you need a true heavy duty belt for a sidearm, I'd personally recommend you look at 1.7 inch, purpose built products instead.Still, for a sub-$20 belt, these have been shockingly well made products. They don't quite hold a candle to Blackhawk or other similar brands, but for a fraction of the price, it's hard to fault them for falling short of that level of performance.

Great sturdy belt!
This is a great belt! I’ve had it for 3 years with no problem and am purchasing another one to keep on a second pair of pants. It is easy to unbuckle, looks good and is made of very sturdy webbing, it’s strong enough to hold up any utility items you can have hooked to the belt.Minor downsides:If your belt loops are too small it’s a pain to remove the belt from the pants without unthreading the webbing from one side of the buckle, with practice it’s a breeze and can actually be a plus as any utility items you may have hooked to the belt won’t slide off.If the ‘buckle’ parts are not aligned it can be difficult to unclasp the parts. Just push the two halves together and they will realign.

Black was good, tan was a bit weaker
This belt is great and it's stiff enough to hold up any self-defense items. Good value to money. I also go this in the tan/fde and the material was weaker and easier to bend and not as well suited to those self-defense items as it's black counterpart.

Fits My Needs Perfectly
I ordered this belt with free next day delivery. I was surprised when it actually arrived on the next day since the next day was Memorial Day. I give it 5 stars for quick delivery. First of all, I did not order this expecting to use it as a belt to hold up my pants so I cannot say as to whether it fits through belt loops or not. My guess is it would fit only if the loops are large or the buckle was removed as people have said. But it fits my purpose perfectly. I wanted a belt to fit outside my pants to hold extra magazine pouches and this is perfect. The belt and buckle seem to be high quality. Adjusting it to fit was easy. After I have actually used it for a while I will update my review if needed. I purchased dual cases designed to carry revolver Speed Loaders and use them to carry extra 10 round rotary magazines for a Savage 17 HMR. I had no problem sliding the belt with buckle attached through the case back. As the pictures show, I can carry nine dual pouches for a total of 18 extra magazines which is exactly what I purchased this belt for. Even with 18 fully loaded magazines the belt can be adjusted tight enough to hold everything in place while remaining loose enough to rotate it around my waist to get to the magazines in the back. It is so much handier to simply change magazines rather than having to reload empty magazines at the range or while in the field. I expect this to last a long time since it will not be an every day carry belt but will only be used when I go shooting. My belt did come with the loop to hold the loose end in place but in my case the loose end is simply fed inside a magazine case. I strapped it on and walked about 1/2 mile and the belt stayed in place. After a few steps I did not even notice I was wearing it. I give it 5 stars for fitting my needs perfectly and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a belt for carrying extra magazine pouches.

Sturdy
Excellent belt. Sturdy. Affordable. Has a rappel loop in case you’re in your way to Whole Foods and find yourself hanging off if a cliff. You can unravel that paracord bracelet you’ve been wearing just for this occasion and then use it to rappel 3 feet down to the next ledge. From there you’re out of luck. Unless you brought an actual climbing harness, 9.8 rope, and know what a Prusik knot is. Pardon the dangling preposition - if that’s what it is.Good belt. Hang gear off of it that makes you feel prepared. Keeps pants up. Quick release buckle. Buckle head is large so often has to be removed to run belt into a fresh pair of pants. Don’t lose the little elastic loop thing.I like it. Will let you know if I rappel with it.

The buckle heads are too wide
The heads of the belt are too wide to fit through Columbia or north face quick dry pants as well as nrs swim shorts. Good build quality just doesn’t work for any of the clothes I wanted it for.

Worn it everyday for 3 months, it's amazing how comfortable it is.
I use it for conceal carry for my Glock 21 and barely know it is there; I love it so much that I purchased another just in case its discontinued. It's amazing how sturdy this belt is, the buckle is easy to clip, easy to release but secure beyond belief when seated. The material is not the typical woven type that frays easily & catches on to everything, this has some rigidity to it and can be cut to length without falling apart. I am a fat guy that chafes easily, and this belt does not cause friction welts, tear skin, retain body heat or sweat, I like it so much that I am going to grab a third.
