Can Spaz Stix paints be used on Metal & can they be brushed on or only airbrushed? I want to paint in detail then clear-coat a small stainless item.

I would lightly sand.maybe steel wool.yes it will bond.but you will have to spray with air gun.if you try to brush it will not look even

What to use for cleanup

Because it's acrylic, you can start with windex because it contains amonia...., or just use straight household amonia. ... for faster clean up. ., lacquer thinner.

Is this paint waterproof

It's lacquer paint I would say if you seal it with rustoleum or krylon clear coat lacquer don't spray acrylic paint over lacquer

So this must be used with an air gun or air brush? Will this work out well covering scrathes on engine gaurds ?

The paint is pre-thinned for use in an airbrush. I assume you intend to apply it to the scratches using a brush, and while I would expect it to work fine, it will be runny and might take more coats than normal.
