I saw this and thought, "That will be awesome!"To be honest, when I received it, I was a bit disappointed. I thought it would be bigger.I put it in the "catch-all" drawer in the kitchen without even trying it out.A couple of months later, I was slicing up some veggies and meat with my chef knife.I noticed the knife was not cutting as smoothly as I was used to.I have another knife sharpener when I am going to go through and sharpen all of our knives.I didn't feel like grabbing it just for a quick sharpening.I opened the "catch-all" drawer looking for one of my sharpening steels.I saw it in the drawer and thought I would just give it a try, not expecting too much from it.I'm actually embarrassed it took me so long to try it.Five passes with my chef knife, and it was cutting as well as when I use my other sharpener.So, I pulled out my pocket knife which needed a sharpening as well.I passed it through a couple of times then went to check its sharpness on whether it would shave some of the hair on my forearm.Well, it wasn't completely razor sharp but it definitely cut hair.I showed my wife how to use it and she absolutely loved the simplicity of it.All of our kitchen knives are sharp now, as well as a few pocket knives.I have not touched my "good" knife sharpener in literally months.I would recommend and I will but again!

I love that I don’t have to pull out the electric sharpener when I need a quick sharpening. I also love that it has a clamp down to keep it securely on the counter. Gave them to our kids as Christmas gifts!
