I have tried a few of these adapters and had poor results. Finally I think I have found one that works very well. We have a 2023 Honda Ridgeline and a 2021 CRV Hybrid and so far so good. I guess Honda is a bit late to the game with wireless and I don't think they started with it till 2024 so we were a bit out of luck. I have an iphone 13 and it's working great for me for 2 days now so unless something changes I will for sure be keeping these.

This works well and it definitely favors the iphone over the android. My wife has an iphone and I have an android phone. It will connect to the iphone before it will connect to my android if we are both in the car. Once it connects, I can't get it to recognize my android. When I want to use my phone, I have to unplug this and plug my phone directly into it. Now, if I'm by myself, it'll connect to my phone seamlessly.Overall, we've had a good experience with this.

Great replacement for my previously Motorola wireless car play adapter. I was previously this which was so many connectivity issues. This was so much cheaper and works right out of the box. It's also smaller so I am able to hide in my glove box so cannot be seen. Following the included instructions I had no issues getting it connected and tinny car. Easy to install as it just uses it a USB slot.I would encourage anyone to double check if they have a always powered on USB port so it doesn't drain their car battery but I doubt this drains much

This is my third try buying a wireless CarPlay adapter for my 2020 Acura RDX. The first one, an older revision of a Carlinkit firmware that I tried a couple of years ago, wouldn't even reliably connect. The second one installed, connected and reconnected fine, but was extremely laggy with Google Maps to the point where I could have easily missed turns or even a highway exit where two exits are close to each other. Both were generously refunded by the sellers involved.While this unit paired easily via Bluetooth, connected automatically to its built-in 5Ghz WiFi connection, reconnected automatically, and has demonstrated virtually no lag, no music playing issues, no overheating issues, no "used to work and just stopped working" issues, etc. It's a reliable device, with one odd exception (and it's a major one). When using the Messages app, once you respond to a message and CarPlay asks you "Send it?", you don't get the option to change it or say no or change. In fact, no matter WHAT you say or if you say NOTHING, it will send the message anyway. Be warned. On my vehicle, if I mess up a message I have to quickly tap the "Return" key on the keypad to cancel the message before it sends.The seller offered me a full refund, as the product does not work properly. I accepted their offer, however, I never received a refund, and the seller has since left Amazon. Since then, I've tried and returned yet ANOTHER adapter which was rated 4.9/5, but lagged so badly it was totally unusable.As this adapter *mostly* works, I'm just going to keep it, as I don't believe there are better alternatives out there. Out of the four I've tried so far, this is the only one that didn't lag so badly that I could miss a turn on Google Maps. I should also note that Amazon themselves were happy to grant me a refund if I chose to send it back. Kudos to them for that.
