Actually works well, very impressed
I am pretty impressed not that this works but that it works so well, just have to make sure the RX has the power it needs from a USB charger or a powered usb port. Once its all connected, just wait, it does connect but can take 20 seconds or so sometimes..

Surprisingly Effective
I wouldn’t recommend it for video games, but wow it’s literally just 2 cords you can use to transmit video input over a decent distance with very little lag. I was skeptical because it just looks like 2 HDMI cords, but it works just as good (if not better) as any other “wireless HDMI” alternatives I’ve used and way more adorable as well. I could easily see a teacher using this in the class, someone trying to display something across a room without long wires, and even movies. It’s plug and play. I love it!

UPDATE: 2 out of 3 failed to work out of the box
I'm updating my original review after we purchased two more of these wireless HDMI devices to connect additional TVs and projectors. The two that we purchased later have both failed to work out of the box. I followed the instructions for connecting RX to the display and we do see that the RX is registering on the TV/Monitor, as it shows "Wireless Mirror Adapter" on the screen. However, when we connect the TX to the sending computer and provide USB power nothing else happens. It appears that the transmitter is not pairing properly with the receiver. I found instructions online with steps for how to re-pair the TX and RX, but even after trying the instructions multiple times, both pairs of devices are still unable to connect. Unfortunately, having 2 out of 3 of these fail to function is not a good sign, especially when the purpose is to quickly get a connection.

Works great for my purposes
I use this wireless HDMI unit for karaoke. It worked so well, I bought a second one. I leave the receiver connected to different flat screen TV’s that way all I have to do is switch transmitters. I can’t really say what the maximum usable distance is since I normally use it at 25 feet or less.

Truly a "Plug and Play" item.
I looked at several and picked this Wireless HDMI because it came in its own case, as well as a set of adapters for various types of HDMI connection - I travel for work and pleasure and murphy's law says when you really need it, is when you find the TV or projector with the weird connection.Set up has been truly seamless, plug one end into my laptop - the other into the television or Projector, switch to HDMI Input/Output on each - and it just works - it is as simple as that.I don't have to keep it right next to what ever, 10-15 feet and it works just fine - be it videos or just a straight presentation/demo.Its now a "Must Pack" for my Travel toolkit. You won't be disappointed!

Awesome little product!
I've tried out quite a few of these Wireless HDMI Transmitter/Receivers, including some very expensive ones. For the price, this one is the best!First of all, the form factor is unbeatable. It's easy to transport, and setting it up couldn't be simpler. It's literally a plug-and-play device. The only concerning issue is the amount of heat that it gives off while in use, so I would recommend unplugging it when you are done. What I did was hook the USB into a portable power switch that I can flick on and off. I primarily use it for gaming, so I can't speak to its durability if you plan on using it to wirelessly transmit TV programming all day long. But I've had no problem using it for three or four hours at a time and then powering down. The 1080p picture quality is excellent, and I have yet to experience any disconnects. I am using the device in a two-bedroom apartment with several walls between the transmitter and receiver. It has had no problems maintaining a solid connection. Even more importantly, there is no noticeable lag when gaming. I'm sure there must be some latency, but it is so minimal that I can't even tell. It feels almost as good as gaming on the host PC.My only complaint, and the reason that I docked a star, is that the device is advertised as a 60FPS transmitter and receiver. I can confirm that my computer DOES indeed recognize that the signal being sent is 60FPS compatible. However, to my eyes, what I see on the receiver's end looks like 30FPS to me (maybe 40FPS at most). I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong, but I was hoping the receiver would display action just a bit more "buttery smooth." It doesn't look bad by any stretch of the imagination, but it also doesn't have that instantly recognizable 60FPS feel. All in all, this is a must-have device, albeit for a very specific use case. Other than the possible overheating and FPS issue, I'd definitely recommend it over most of the others.
